Three months after we bought this dishwasher the water pump went out. It was under warranty and the service guy was GREAT. He replaced the pump, but we had issues of still not cleaning dishes. Maytag says their dishwashers will take off dried on egg yoke and peanut butter. Our's would not take butter off a knife. Glasses came out with a white film on them. Dishes still came out wet after drying. We called Maytag again. Once again the service guy came out. He said sorry "This is as good as it gets". Even tho we have three sprayers in the dishwasher the motors are not as strong as the old units. Which does not spray the water very hard on the dishes. The dryers do not heat like the old units and they do not have fans to blow hot air around the dishes. The reason dishes come out wet. He said we need to upgrade our detergent to Finish Quantum and also use Lemi Shine. booster. These are both HIGH price products. This improved the results of unit but still does not clean as good as our old 2009 Kenmore did. Some dishes still need to be hand washed. We paid over $500 for a unit and got the same results as a $300 unit. Don't believe Maytag/Whirl Pool hype.

We moved into a brand new home furnished with appliances. The dishwasher was crap; it smelled, it didn't dry the dishes and they still looked dirty after it ran. So we looked around and found this Maytag one.
I am very pleased with our choice. It is pretty quite and I can run it and still hear the TV (we have an open concept floor plan - 2 story house). My dishes look clean and are dry after the cycle. I like the control panel and the fact it says "Clean" when it is done running. It also shows how long a cycle is going to run.
We had Home Depot install it so I'm not sure how easy it is to do that. But they weren't here very long and we haven't had any issues.

Cons: flimsy door construction (must be perfectly level for door to close properly), top rack is short and does not adjust (can’t fit tall glasses or water bottles)
Only had it a couple of weeks, but disappointed so far in its average cleaning ability and flimsy assembly. The top rack needs to be another inch or so lower to fit our needs. Hopefully it will last a few years.

I just love my new dishwasher. It was easy to install and it looked great. I have done many loads of the dirtiest dishes and they came out spotless and very clean. I really made a good choice in buying this dishwasher. I took the big basket out for the silverware and swapped it out with one half the size only because I just didn't need a basket that large except during the holidays. I have bought four dishwashers before this one and I have to say this is the best one I ever had. You just can't go wrong buying this one.

Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- New dishwasher connection kit
- Water supply line (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Electrical outlet within 6 ft. of hook up
- The rough cabinet opening must be at least: 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H
- Measure your rough cabinet opening
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty and unplug your old dishwasher
