Ice cubes keep getting stuck
I had limited space of 32" to work with and wanted manufacturer installed ice maker because I thought the quality would be better. And this purchase is for our vacation home where we rent out to others so it is inconvenient to have repair scheduling when renters are in the house. This product looked good and had mostly good reviews on home depot and we have Maytag at our primary home and like it, therefore made the purchase. However, the one we received a month ago has been problematic. First we had no ice production. We were able to get an appt. and the installer came back within couple of weeks and was able to get the ice maker to work. But once the ice started being produced, I noticed that ice cubes get stuck reducing the amount of ice being produce in 24 hours. We get about 12 cubes per 24 hours because the ice cube keeps getting stuck. We should not have to dislodge ice cubes every hour. We did call Maytag to get it serviced but will have to wait at least another week for an appt. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the second appt will get the ice cube maker fixed.

Missing Sheif
One shelf on door side was missing when deliversd,so I called Whirpool custermer service.They sent me in one week.I've had this fridge for two weeks and I'm surtisfied the performance.Autmatic ice maker is a nice addition.I wish capercity is a little bit larger.

I found one shelf on door side missing.
Office Depot asked me to call Whirpool and they sent me a shelf in a week.

We have had this fridge for less than three years. Ice is forming inside the back of the freezer and moving down to the pan, migrating towards and out the door like a glacier eventually spilling out through the front of the door and melting on to the floor.. I actually called Sears, because I thought they had their own repair people, and they told me that they were aware of the problem, and would send me a free replacement part if I paid the certified repairman to do the work ($125 service call + labor). Maytag/Whirlpool says there are no recalls on this particular model. The customer service was awful. I decided that the ice maker wasn't worth that much to me and disconnected the water. Two and a half years isn't very long to have significant problems, and I'd say 20% of it's purchase price in repairs within 3 years qualifies as a bad investment. I wouldn't buy it again, and feel bad selling it to someone else. Good luck!

Ugly visible screws on front door
I purchased this refrigerator 4/20/2015 and read reviews and even enlarged pictures to get a better view. However, when the frig arrived, there were two (2) unsightly screws on the front door opposite the handle. Because you can change the door handle, the screws are there but what an awful sight. Not sure if I'll be able to get used to it. Very unsightly for a stainless refrigerator. Also, freezer basket does not pull out that far.

Regretful purchase
The photo online does not depict (and the description does not disclose) the ugly screws on the front of the door. I assume because you can change the swing of the door the screws are there but this feature could have been designed better. Absolutely regrett buying this. Will probably sell it and buy another model.

Clean, bright and cold!
This fridge looks great, makes our kitchen look updated.
It has a very clean look inside and out and runs quiet and cold.
Not sure what else you would want in a refrigerator?
BTW the screws on the front door (opposite of the handle side) are barely noticeable.
I would buy again.
