No. Only one small tray self cleans. The rest of the oven cleaning is up to you, but you can't use and cleaning products on it. I'm disappointed. Advertising misrepresents the product.
This Maytag MGR6600FZ Range is a gas appliance and not a dual fuel appliance. It uses Gas for the burners and Gas for heating the oven. Electricity is used for the electric burner igniters and in the oven constant pilot for the lower burners and the broiler. This appliance uses much more gas for heat than electricity. Gas consumption is separate. The max draw should be 15 amps for electricity which is a reasonable amount for this gas appliance.
I don't think it's in all stores. I know that it wasn't in either of the two stores nearest to me.
Yes.
I have had no problems with this.
you can operate the burners buy igniting them yourself, if the power is out
I used with custom cabinets that were already installed, and it fit perfectly.
I was able to purchase this service as an option during checkout. Also included as part of that were the needed accessories for hooking everything up. My delivery was speedy. It was a two man team. One removed the old appliance while the other preped the new. I was given opportunity to clean the area before they placed the new appliance in place. They tested everything worked before they left and took the old appliance with them. I only buy appliances from Home Depot due to the superior delivery/take away service they provide. It used to be free but I believe they charge for it now. Well worth the cost. Be forewarned - if there is any complication encountered (old gas connection - incorrect electrical setup) they will not be able to address that. I recently arranged for a hood microwave to be delivered/installed but it went back due to my current hood being directly wired vs plugged into an outlet. I hope this helps you out. :)
So Maytag, does that translate to electronic ignition or pilot flame, and if the answer is neither, then how is it different, so the customer can understand whether they can live with it or not? Why not give a USEFUL answer to the question? Or don't you know your own products?
I believe the instructions are available on line, but you also can contact Maytag and let them know that you did not receive an instruction book.
