Once I got it programmed it worked great!!! But… I live in a town that lets us water on odd or even days depending on your street address. Programming to water every other day starting on a specific date was a problem. The key is to program the timer 2 days before you want the program to start (depends on the frequency you want.)

Overall great timer
App is awesome. Customizable and love the picture option. Only issue is that to change and pre set timers or turn the water on, your device needs to be within 30 feet. There is no rain delay sensor, you'd have to plan ahead, go to the preset and say delay 1 day. Not a huge deal, but would be cool if you could change settings from far away.

Used it for 5 months. Wireless function is convenient. Valving mechanism is not robust. Several do not always turn on now even with the manual button. Would not recommend.

Great irrigation system

I’ve been using this to water my overseeded yard twice...
I’ve been using this to water my overseeded yard twice a day for a month.
The physical device gets 5 stars for functioning as designed. It works great and none of my 4 hoses have leaked. Plus the solenoids are much quieter than my old MELNOR (non-Bluetooth) timer.
The app only gets 3 stars and needs streamlined. I wish it connected through WiFi and didn’t have to be a few feet away from the device to connect to it. The interface is clumsy. BUT I figured out how to do everything I needed to do and it’s working. I really like the water savor option.
Overall, it’s the best on the market and I would but it again.

Could have been great, but it was unreliable
1. Only uses bluetooth, not wifi. You have to be within 30 feet of the unit.
2. Software requires you turn your location settings on. Doesn't make sense to me.
3. Couldn't get the clock settings to sync, so my unit's time was off.
4. One of the units I bought just didn't work.
5. On the same unit, one of the valves just stopped working altogether within two months of use (even if the app said it was running).
In the end, I'm going to return both units and try something else.
