Answers300 lbs is the recommended weight limit, I'm sure that it would hold more but that would shorten the life of the chair and may be unsafe.

The chair was easy to assemble and looks nice. Its bones may not last long but either will mine.It works as it should, mechanically helping me to recline and also get up out of it. My only disappointment is that it’s not long enough for an old 5’10” man. My feet dangle too far off the end of the chair when reclining and it’s uncomfortable.

The chair is what it is advertised to be. It is a beautiful chair and the construction is superb, based on that alone I could honestly rate it at 5 stars. However, if I could go back to square one and start over I would not buy it because it is a chair that is built for a larger person than me. I am about 5ft 7inches tall and weigh about 185 lbs. I intend to keep this chair and when I get another one that fits me better this one will be for guests in my living room.
