Product Details

The Merola Tile Expressions Beveled Diamond White 11-5/8 in. x 12 in. x 7 mm Glass Mosaic Tile is constructed of recycled pressed glass. The small white beveled diamond feature mixed finishes for added dimension. With characteristics of unglazed porcelain tile, this mosaic is impervious and frost resistant. These mesh-mounted tiles offer a high durability rating that is great for any interior or exterior space.
  • 0.97 square foot per piece, each piece sold individually. Piece weight equals 2.5 lbs.
  • Grade 1, first-quality recycled glass tile for floor and wall use
  • 11.63 in. width x 12 in. length x 7 mm thick mesh-mounted mosaic. 1.04 in. W x 1.74 in. L diamond pieces
  • Unglazed smooth finish with a mixed finish and uniform appearance in tone
  • P.E.I. rating IV has high resistance to abrasion and is suitable for heavy-duty residential and commercial kitchens, hotels, exhibition and sales rooms with some dirt conditions
  • Impervious flooring has water absorption of less than 0.5% for indoor and outdoor use and is frost resistant
  • C.O.F. greater than .50 is recommended for standard residential applications and is marginally skid resistant. Indoor use
  • Completely frost resistant for indoor or outdoor applications; use a latex-modified thinset for acceptable bond strength

      A:  Hi! Yes, our Expressions Beveled Diamond White is suitable for shower floor installations as long as it is sealed before grouting, 90 days after installation and resealed once a year.         A:  Good Afternoon, There are no coordinating trim pieces for this tile. In situations like this, we recommend Schluter Trim http://thd.co/1qBLqjw, which can be found at the Home Depot. Being as this is a glass tile, you can choose whether or not you feel as though an edge is necessary, as there is not an unfinished edge on the sides of this tile. Ultimately, decisions like this are a matter of personal preference and it is best for you to decide if that meets your design needs.           Elegance is what comes to mind when thinking about this Expressions Beveled Diamond White 11-5/8 inch x 12 inch x 7 mm Glass Mosaic Tile. It has a diamond design in a creamy slightly off white color. It's mounted on a mesh background making it easier to install than individual tiles. Made of recycled glass this tile is recommended for floor or wall installation. I am including a picture of our previous backsplash. It is a large area - the tile will go on the backsplash area extending to the side area and the sides and up around the window, as seen in previous backsplash photo. Due to the large area we had to order 10 more pieces to complete the task, which delayed installing it. We used a latex-modified thinset -for an acceptable bond strength to install. Grout that is very similar to the tile color, has to be done yet. ~ matching it closely, allows an easy change to decorative accent color choices for the kitchen. The tile needs to cure for 48-72 hours after install ~ until grout can be applied. Using ¼ inch, quarter round moulding for the cap will finish the edges nicely.           I found this to be a beautiful, strong, eye catching mosaic tile from Merola Tile. The white is creamy looking, rich looking and this has been well packaged. There were no broken tiles as they were mounted on strong cardboard. This will offer an exquisite, timeless appearance to whatever you install this on. The back offers design idea's which are helpful to the beginner. This is a superior tile. No disappointments here.

          Tile was shipped via ground service. It was well packaged and arrived with no breakage. Tile is very modern looking. Clean look with plenty of shine. Nice alternative to typical white subway tile. Easy to install since they come with backing. The backing also helped when it came time to cut the small tiles to fill in the edges instead of having to handle individual small tiles.

          Now this is an impressive tile. Nice modern and stylish look to bring a splash to any room in your home. Comes already on a backing so its simple to install in sheets. The best part is the texture as you can see. It has great dimensions to the tile as you can see in the photos. Will work great as a wall, floor tile, would make an amazing backsplash. Super clean color and lines. WOW! Absolutely beautiful. I would say to use this instead of the typical subway tile everyone is using these days, would make a much better stylish look or mix it in with it for a nice change.
