Smaller scale
I used the larger scale of this same tile through my kitchen and laundry room. Used this smaller scale in front of an exterior door, and have plans for the soap niches in my shower surround.

Beautiful tile
We remodeled our bathroom and couldn't be happier with the tile. It was installed on a diagonal so the look is somewhat different but I am so happy we chose to install it that way. I will enjoy the look for a long time!

I love the pattern of the Merola harmonia Kings star blue tile. The blue stars are so vibrant and look so good in my powder room. Though I love the appearance but on few of them there are stains that I know shouldn't be there but that I can live with. To install you need spacers, thinset and tools. The installation was challenging for me to set them on the wall but I love the outcome.

Merola Tile's Harmonia Kings Star "Sky" tiles are gorgeous!
These 13" x 13" pre-scored square tiles' white star against a blue background are stunning. Merola describe the blue as a faded 'denim'. That's quite appropriate for the color, as the design incorporates an 'aged' look to the blue and an almost hand-made quality in the variations in each of the smaller tiles and among the tiles themselves. I rather think of this as a 'midnight blue' ! When else are you gonna see stars out?!
I've been searching for a nice navy-blue tile for a while and finally found these tiles that will fit perfectly with my blue, white and 'concrete' motifs in my kitchen renovation.
Since I'm tiling my backsplash over a concrete countertop, I'll be using a grout color that fits in with this color scheme. I find that Custom Building Products' 'Delorean Gray' will fit nicely as a grout color to complement both the surrounding tiles and the concrete counters.
The 3x3 array of star patterns on the tile has been pre-scored, dividing it into approximately 4" square tiles. The scored line kerf/gap is 1/16".
The smaller tile patterns are the smaller cousins of the larger Kings Star "Sky" pattern in both the 9 and 18 inch square tiles.
The tiles are well-made, scored lines are perfect and the aged-look in the design has slight variations between tiles. The tiles are matte, low sheen finish.
This design and the Kings Star "Blue" tiles, being its reversed-image design, will be used in my cooktop backsplash.
I share some installation in-progress images of my cooktop backsplash.

Merola Tile's Harmonia King Star "Blue" tiles are absolutely stunning!
These 13" x 13" square tiles' blue star against an 'aged white' background are what sold me on this lovely design. The 3x3 array of star patterns on the tile has been pre-scored, dividing it into approximately 4" square tiles. The scored line kerf/gap is 1/16".
The smaller tile patterns are the smaller cousins of the larger approx. 10 inch Kings Star "Blue" pattern.
The tiles are well-made, scored lines are perfect and the aged-look in the design has slight variations between tiles. The tiles are matte, low sheen and the surface finish has the look and feel of porcelain.
This design and the Kings Star "Sky" tiles, being its reversed-image design, will be used in my cooktop backsplash.

I love Merola tile. I got this smaller, 13x13 Kings Star Nero patterned tile to complement my 17x17 Harmonia Kings Star Nero tile, which has a different, but similar and larger pattern. I am using both as a feature wall in my bathroom. (See pics)
This tile looks to be divided into 9 smaller tiles with a red clay colored grout. If you want to use a different grout color, you can cover all the red but I like the terracotta red, as it contrasts the grays, and I will be grouting with red. (Not available at my HD store, so will be ordering on-line.)
I recommend this brand, Mercola, in any style you might like. The tiles are thick and sturdy, and the designs upon them are beautiful. The Nero looks antiquish. It reminds me of an old Roman pattern.

When start the work of laying this product be sure the floor or wall area is cleaned and apply backer board is required in order to get the proper holding power . Be sure to align the corners for the beauty of it's attraction .

This tile is truly beautiful! I knew I loved it having only seen it online, seeing it in person greatly exceeded my expectations. The aged look and textures are perfect, they really soften the design making it well suited for a casual or formal space. The terra cotta faux grout lines on each tile add warmth and dimension. My original intention was to use it in the master bath, but after seeing it in the kitchen that is where it definitely belongs! I cannot wait to get started tearing out the existing floor and lay this in it's place.

I am building an ADU and was on the hunt to find a kitchen backsplash tile to go with dark stained butcher block countertops and medium oak hardwood floors. I wanted a tile that had a classic design but also a little bit of ‘fun’. When I saw this tile, I knew I found it. I have installed about 800 sq ft of Merola tile and it is A+ in quality and this tile is no different. I am still waiting on my inspection, so I haven’t gotten to install the tile.
It is SUPER heavy. The scored grout lines are 1/16” which is what I prefer. The larger star is roughly 4.5” wide and the smaller star 1.5” wide. Since it is so difficult to tell colors due to different device color renderings, I took pictures of the tile on medium oak flooring and on honed concrete quartz countertops. I think it looks great with both so it can cover the spectrum from beige to gray easily. Super, super happy with this tile and can’t wait to get it installed – highly recommend. .
