Do not use white grout!
Love this tile however I choose a kind of off white beige grout that ended up being a white white white color. It made the tile look very dingy. So cheap and ugly! It looked like white chalking. The color samples at Home Depot is way off. I wish they had real grout samples instead.

Nice, stylish tile in a large format for easy installation while still maintaining the look of a smaller tile. I wasn't sure what this was going to look like when it arrived but I really dig the look of a cement tile even though it's actually a larger clay tile underneath. There are prescored grout lines that should fill up nicely when you grout and if you needed to cut these down that would make it pretty easy. There's a modest amount of variation intensity of the pattern on each tile giving the overall field a hand-made appearance. So this is perfect for somewhere you want to get some nice charm and old world feel without having to have a deep mortar bed and thick tile. I plan to use this for small counter and might use some on a matching side table. Overall very happy with the tile.

These tiles have a charcoal shade to them on an antique white background. It has a flower motif on what looks like 4 separate tiles but is actually one very large tile. These things are thick and heavy, you can tell they are high quality when you pick one up.
Mine came in a box, packed inside another box lined with a very thick layer of foam. They survived shipping with no damage quite well. They're heavy though, each box is almost 52 lbs so be careful when lifting. They have a high resistance to abrasion so they would work well in higher traffic areas like kitchens and foyers. You can also use them as a backsplash or in bathrooms which gives you alot of options. Definitely high quality tiles.

I love the rustic look of these tiles. The sage green color is subtle but rich looking. These tiles are quite large and look like 4 smaller individual tiles. The grout lines in between the 4 panels is a beige earth tone but can be grouted over if you want the grout a different color. They are bulky and a bit heavy so you need to be careful when putting them down but they make covering larger areas quicker because of their size.
You can use these tiles for backsplashes, floors, bathrooms and showers. They come packed very well in heavy foam and sturdy cardboard boxes.

I love the Merola brand of tiles. They are high quality, very well made tiles. These are made to look weathered and worn out of the box. They have a nice faded look to them. The tiles are very large which makes laying down large areas quicker. These are a low sheen tile so they have an almost stone like appearance and finish. There are grout lines in between the individual faux tiles which can be used as-is or covered over with the grout of your choice. They are a little pricey but I definitely recommend them if you're looking for that weathered look.

I really love the way this tile is designed to look vintage out of the box. If you're looking for that older, scuffed up slightly worn look this is definitely worth a look. Of all the colors I like the blue tile the best. I also like the large tiles, they are 17.63 in. W x 17.63 in. L x 0.39 in. thick. It makes laying the floor down quicker if you have large areas to cover. The pre-grouted lines can be left that way of you want, or can be grouted a different color so you have options.
Mine arrived in boxes with a very thick foam liner. There was no damage, these tiles we packed very nicely and were not damaged at all.
I'd definitely recommend these if you're looking for that weathered look. Good quality and great looks.

It has a low sheen with kind of an antique rustic look. Each tile is really four tiles in one. They are imported from Spain, which has become a great bragging right. They were packaged well as others have said. I planned to install it in the hall bathroom, but after seeing it in person it seemed a better fit for our small bar area. The install could have been a little tighter, they recommend a 3/16" grout line, but it is what it is. The bar now has a strong solid floor that should last for years to come. It's a bit pricey, so I would say it's most suitable for sprucing up a small area. If you have the time, it's a good idea to order samples first, because Merola has quite a selection of designs. I chose a different Merola design for the bathroom which I will be reviewing soon. Now it's time to install some new baseboards.

The best part of this tile is its size. It looks like 4 smaller tiles when laid but lays much faster being it is so much larger. Care needs to be taken when laying that you have enough thin set to support it so it doesn't crack. It has the appearance of an old tile since its edges resemble the roughness of worn tiles. It has a bit more sheen than I expected, but it is not slick looking. When unboxing, there is fiber strips that fall off the bottoms of the tiles, so it would be best to unbox away from where you have thin set already down and brush the bottoms of each tile prior to installing.

Very attractive vintage looking ti,e in a beautiful sage color, with an off-white background. Each of the individual slabs consist of four (4) 8-3/4 in. squares separated by scored grout lines. The scored grout lines can be grouted with the color of your choice, or left un-grouted for a rugged finish.
This is an ideal floor finish, and very easy to clean. Also done in my favorite color: SAGE + off-white.
The distressed, aged look is also quite attractive, and adds a charm of it's own. Much easier than installing small individual tiles.
