Offering a classic look, the Merola Tile Metro Hex Glossy White Porcelain Mosaic Tile is reminiscent of Victorian-era tile and features a smooth, high-gloss finish for a clean, stylish look. Ideal for any setting, whether modern construction or historical renovations, these tiles are easy to clean and durable for a long-lasting use. Suitable for heavy-duty residential and most commercial and even offer frost resistance for some exterior work. If pairing with other products in our Metro Hex series, please consider that all formats and thicknesses may not be the same.

- Grade 1, first-quality porcelain tile for floor and wall use.
- 10.25 in. width x 11.88 in. length x 0.22 in. mm thick mesh-mounted mosaic. 0.87 in. W x 0.87 in. L pieces
- Glazed smooth finish with a high sheen and uniform appearance in tone
- P.E.I. Rating II has high resistance to abrasion and is suitable for heavy-duty residential and commercial kitchens, hotels, exhibition and sales rooms with some dirt conditions all interior walls and light foot traffic such as powder rooms
- Impervious tiles have a water absorption of less than 0.5% for indoor and outdoor use and is frost resistant
- C.O.F. less than or equal to .5 is considered to have a marginally low skid resistance.
- Completely frost resistant for indoor or outdoor applications; use a latex-modified thinset for acceptable bond strength

crap tile
This has to be one of the worst tile mosaic ive worked with. Maybe would be ok if you dont have to cut it. If you have to cut it and use a wet saw be prepared to have an absolute mess on your hands. And by all means dont stack them once you get it wet from the saw. The water breaks down the glue mat and leaves everything sticky and milky. Such a mess. And if you try to work woth it while wet the tiles fall off the mat backing. Sorry i ever bought this. Worst tile ive ever used

Hi! Thank you for sharing your impressions with us! Our Metro Hex is applied to each sheet with an environmentally friendly water soluble adhesive. For the best installation experience, we recommend trimming the mesh to fit your space, then removing individual chips from the mesh and making individual cuts using a wet saw with a diamond tipped blade, as that will offer the best cut with the least chance of breakage. Cut chips can then easily be set back in place. We stand behind the quality of our products and appreciate your feedback!

great quality mosaic
Very pleased with this tile. Well spaced on the background, white is great match to my kohler sink/toilet. Including picture of floor with these glossy white tiles, combined with glossy black, and Arctic White grout.

I installed this black glossy hex tile on the floor of our half bath. Since we wouldn't be stepping on it with wet feet I didn't need to worry about it being slip resistant. I absolutely LOVE the size of the tiles and the way the glossy finish sparkles and reflects the light, especially since it's such a tiny space with no windows. I'm not sure I would use it in an area that gets a lot of traffic though since the tiles are so thin, it seems better suited for a backsplash or accent. So far it has held up very well.

Very happy with appearance and installation
This was my fist mosaic tile job and second tile job ever, my first being square white tiles in the shower from Home Depot. I was so pleased to find out it was much easier than I expected. My more sceptical husband was also impressed with the tile! Love the finish, size of tile and color. Glad I went with the pewter colored grout and bullnose tile for base trim as well also found at Home Depot!

Exactly what I was looking for
Color and glazing was uniform throughout the ten boxes I ordered and not a single tile arrived broken. The tile spacing was also uniform, with only a few tiles being exceptions to the later, but the installer was able to adjust those without too much issue. The tile was installed only a week ago, so it's too soon to say what durability will be.

Super cute "restored" vintage bathroom!
We updated our bathroom in our 1955 home with this tile. Originally we provided the SKU # to our contractor who ordered the tile and I thought we bought the black & white tile, but lo and behold they have the same SKU # so watch out!! We would've had to wait 2 more weeks to get it switched out, so instead we decided to do a very cute black border using 1/2" black liner tile. It looks so cute and actually turned out more interesting and made our bathroom look bigger than if we'd used black and white throughout! Being in a little old house, these bathrooms are tiny! We used a light beige grout with the tile to prevent it from being TOO white but also not grid-like. We are super happy! The contractor installed them so I'm not sure about installation ease.

these tiles make the room complete and authentic!
Our home was built in 1928 so when we began our bathroom updating process we wanted to maintain the integrity of the age but still, wanted it to feel fresh and updated. These tiles fit the bill exactly! They really give the room the "wow" factor. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice of tiles. We have only just completed our bathroom project so we can't speak to durability but our research claims ceramic tiles are quite durable. Fingers crossed!

Good choice, easy to install.
I have tiled quite a bit in previous homes, but this was my first time installing a mosaic tile. I was a little nervous but it was very easy to install. Because the baseboard is wider and would be covering the edge pieces, I didn't even have to cut ANY pieces. After I grouted (make sure your thin set is applied very thinly, or else it will rise up between the tiles), there are a few places where the sheets are a little farther apart than I'd like because spacers aren't really an option with this tile, but overall it was easy to set and grout. I used the Delorean Grey grout and the design really stands out. It looks great and I am glad I chose it!

First time installing floor tile and it turned out great
Tiles arrived within a few business days and I set to work with an experienced buddy providing guidance. Once the floor was properly prepped the tile laying & grouting went very smoothly. The tile itself seems to be of excellent quality and we've received several compliments.
