Maybe all the responders should READ what I wrote. YES, you can do the 3D looking cubes, but you CANNOT do the below pattern. This is a picture from this website. The tiles in this image are MIRRORED. Unless there are mirrored tiles available, this pattern is IMPOSSIBLE to attain.
Good Morning, For a space that is 40 square feet you will need a minimum of 91 tiles. Each tile covers .42 square feet and with 3/16” grout lines it covers .44 square feet. Being as we recommend purchasing a 15% overage of patterned tile to account for cutting, future repairs, dye lot and caliber consistency, you should buy 105 tiles. To find out how many tiles that you need to order, you can divide the square feet of the space by the square feet per tile. Always round up to ensure you have enough tiles (40/.44=90.9 or 91 tiles). To account for the extra recommended tile, you should add 15% to the square footage, and then divide that by the square foot per tile (46/.44= 104.5 or 105 tiles). Please feel free to call us with any further questions you may have at (800)-963-7652. Hope this helps!
Hi Ryan, This tile can be used outdoors in the Chicago climate. This tile is vitreous, so it absorbs little to no water and is frost resistant. If this tile is installed on a wall or other vertical surface, this is not a concern because water will not pool up underneath the tile. If you have any further questions, please reach out to our customer service team at (800)-963-7652. Hope this is helpful!
I used a charcoal grout (very dark gray) and I love how it turned out. I don't know which photos you were looking at, but you can see how my installation looks here: http://uniquelyyouinteriors.com/renovation-diary-part-4-the-bathroom-reveal/ Hope this helps!
Good Morning, This is a very durable tile and should be able to hold the weight of a cast iron claw foot tub. Though, this also depends on the weight and the style of the tub as well as the installation materials and substrate. The break strength specification can be a bit misleading. This does not mean that the tile can only hold 250 lbs before breaking. This specification refers to a test done on the tile. In this test, a machine determines how much pressure the tile can handle at a specific point and with no floor for support. Once you factor in your floor substrate, backerboard, setting material, tile and grout, the floor as a whole can support a lot of weight. However, every claw foot tub is different, and what really matters is the PSI (Pounds per Square Inch). For example, compare a tub that weighs 1000 lbs on 4 feet that are each 3 square inches to a car that weighs 2500 lbs and is covering 35 square inches. In this situation, the tub is exerting a lot more PSI than the car due to its difference in its weight to surface area ratio. This can all be a bit complicated, and if you wish to learn more about it in detail, please contact our customer service team if you have any other questions at (800) 963-7652. Hope this was helpful!
There is Black, Gray and White on the Twenties Diamond Pattern. It is not a pure black but definitely comes across as black when installed. I've attached a photo of it installed in my kitchen to help you visualize.
This product is made in Portugal.
Good Afternoon, This tile can be used at a pool waterline! This tile is vitreous, so it absorbs little to no water, making it great for any outdoor climate. Also, this tile is chemical resistant, so the pool chemicals should not affect this tile. If you have any further questions, please reach out to our customer service team at (800)-963-7652. Hope this helps!
