We choose light grey
Hi! For our Twenties White, we suggest using a 1/4" grout line to accommodate any variation in size or the subsurface and to allow movement. Dependent on how level your subfloor is, the smallest grout joint that we would suggest would be 3/16”. As for grout color, we recommend Custom Building Products #381 Bright White. It is important to note that grout color is a personal choice and can greatly impact the overall look of an installation. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at (800)-963-7652.
Yes we installed as flooring in bathroom
Hi! Yes, our Twenties Vintage Mini is suitable for shower floor installations as it has a glazed finish that will not absorb water. If you have any further questions please give us a call at (800)-963-7652.
Hi! Yes, our Twenties Frame can be cut to suit any installation preferences. We recommend using a wet saw with a diamond tipped blade as it offers the best cut with the least chance of breakage. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at (800)-963-7652.
Hi! Our Twenties Diamond is not hard to keep clean and like all of our products, is rather easy to maintain. Aside from soap and water, we also recommend using a neutral, non-acidic cleaner that is safe for everyday cleaning. A product that would fit into this category would be the Custom Building Products Grout and Tile Cleaner, which can found at the following link https://thd.co/2TMZvKx. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at (800)-963-7652.
We ordered over (300) white tiles, along with an additional (60) tiles having a design in them, all for our kitchen floor ... "none" arrived broken. In fact, and as as an added bonus, we've found them to have an uncanny ability to "clean easily and retain it's original colors." Really! We just mop them with Murphy's Oil Soap solution and they're just like new. All that said, you still need to order some extra tiles for the following reasons: 1. We must have dropped a pan or something heavy on one and it chipped on the edge. We've left it that way because it's a small, barely noticeable chip, exposing the dark colored substrate under the top coating. It could have been worse and/or someone else may still want to change it out. 2. The tiles edges can develop small chips on them from cutting and expose the dark colored substrate which is a darker color. Really unnoticeable. 3. You need to get some extras because sometimes when laying tile you cut the wrong size or drop one by accident. 4. You may want to have a few extras saved if in the future you get a cracked or damaged tile that needs to be replaced as they may not always be available. 5. This is a good one: when we were all done I saved a few tiles and took the remains tiles back to my local Home Depot Store and they issued a full credit. Now you may want to check with your local Home Depot folks to see if they'll do that for a "home depot.com" order or if you Special Order from them to be delivered to you. All that said, we've had the the tiles for (3) years and have received tons of compliments. We wouldn't hesitate getting them again. On a side note we love the pattern we added, surrounded by the white tiles.
I would recommend researching the best way way to clean this type of tile.
Upon thinking about it probably not because the "sealing" would discolor the tile fro its original color or sheen.
