Answer

Hi! For our Twenties White, we suggest using a 1/4" grout line to accommodate any variation in size or the subsurface and to allow movement. Dependent on how level your subfloor is, the smallest grout joint that we would suggest would be 3/16”. As for grout color, we recommend Custom Building Products #381 Bright White. It is important to note that grout color is a personal choice and can greatly impact the overall look of an installation. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at (800)-963-7652.

Hi! Yes, our Twenties Frame can be cut to suit any installation preferences. We recommend using a wet saw with a diamond tipped blade as it offers the best cut with the least chance of breakage. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at (800)-963-7652.

How is this floor cleaned?

Hi! Our Twenties Diamond is not hard to keep clean and like all of our products, is rather easy to maintain. Aside from soap and water, we also recommend using a neutral, non-acidic cleaner that is safe for everyday cleaning. A product that would fit into this category would be the Custom Building Products Grout and Tile Cleaner, which can found at the following link https://thd.co/2TMZvKx. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at (800)-963-7652.

We ordered over (300) white tiles, along with an additional (60) tiles having a design in them, all for our kitchen floor ... "none" arrived broken. In fact, and as as an added bonus, we've found them to have an uncanny ability to "clean easily and retain it's original colors." Really! We just mop them with Murphy's Oil Soap solution and they're just like new. All that said, you still need to order some extra tiles for the following reasons: 1. We must have dropped a pan or something heavy on one and it chipped on the edge. We've left it that way because it's a small, barely noticeable chip, exposing the dark colored substrate under the top coating. It could have been worse and/or someone else may still want to change it out. 2. The tiles edges can develop small chips on them from cutting and expose the dark colored substrate which is a darker color. Really unnoticeable. 3. You need to get some extras because sometimes when laying tile you cut the wrong size or drop one by accident. 4. You may want to have a few extras saved if in the future you get a cracked or damaged tile that needs to be replaced as they may not always be available. 5. This is a good one: when we were all done I saved a few tiles and took the remains tiles back to my local Home Depot Store and they issued a full credit. Now you may want to check with your local Home Depot folks to see if they'll do that for a "home depot.com" order or if you Special Order from them to be delivered to you. All that said, we've had the the tiles for (3) years and have received tons of compliments. We wouldn't hesitate getting them again. On a side note we love the pattern we added, surrounded by the white tiles.

Merola Tile Twenties Diamond Mini 4 in. x 4 in. Ceramic Floor and Wall Tile (3.29 sq. ft./Case) It is sort of weird to be excited about a tile, but my wife and I are pretty excited about this product. We are just preparing to lay the tile in our master bath. We already chose the Merola Tile Twenties Diamond Encaustic 7-3/4 in. x 7-3/4 in. Ceramic Floor and Wall Tile for the floor. This little brother tile will be perfect for the back panel of the shower niche. I considered using the larger version floor tile in the niche but that did not look right. This is the perfect size. And, we are not laying this pattern in the diamond format-- we will be laying it as the shadow step. (See the review with a great photo of the larger format item by Tileman on January 29, 2019.)

The Merola tile twenties classic mini 4"x4" ceramic floor and wall tile. We choose this product to be used in our guest bathroom for a blacksplash around our vanity. It has not been installed as of yet, though we have used this product in other places in our home and have had great result .Installation is pretty straightforward and has given use the results we wanted in a tile product with a modern twist.

The major up side of this 4x4 inch tile is that it’s extremely attractive. Each tile has basically the same pattern so it’s easy to lay and line up with other tiles. Each tile is ever so slightly different so they spline up perfectly, maybe a 64/th of an inch or less off. But if you’re installing with a grout line it would be easy to line up perfectly. These tile are a bit thinner than standard floor tile so keep that in mind, but otherwise they are beautiful, well made and shipped with excellent protection.

I was quite disappointed in the quality of the MEROLA TILE TWENTIES CREST MINI 4 IN. X 4 IN. CERAMIC FLOOR AND WALL TILE (3.29 SQ. FT./CASE). The tiles themselves feel very flimsy and while they cut quite easily, I noticed that the edges around the cut do not look as clean in comparison to other tiles that I have used in the past. The look is very cool but I am not confident in this product lasting over the course of its life.

I used these funky cool tiles in an unconventional way. I easily turned them into multiple sets of drink coasters. Super easy and wayyy less expensive than buying a set of coasters of this quality. I went to a craft store and bought sheets of felt with the peel off sticker on one side...cut them to the size of the tile and stuck the felt to the bottom of the tile to give it a soft non scratch bottom. I then stacked 4 together and tied with a piece of raffia and created a super cute gift. I bought 2 patterns of similar tile and mixed 2 and 2 for a fun eclectic gift. The tiles are perfect size and material for a coaster. I'm sure these would be a perfect addition to any small bathroom or backsplash, but I put them to another fun use and got about 6 gifts per box of tiles. Highly recommend!

These tiles are beautiful. We've now used the grey on white in bathroom and the white on grey in a hallway remodel. They are great quality tiles with great consistency and dimensions.
