Sorry Home Depot can not precut the metal panels. A metal-specific circular saw blade can be used for cutting panels in half or parallel to the ribs. It is the easiest. The newer the blade the better. Turbo-shears work well for fast cutting over the ribs and tin snips can be used for detail work. Make sure to brush metal shavings off the panel before installing and always wear eye and ear safety gear.
When you are side-lapping multiple panels on a roof or wall the coverage width for the panel is 36". 1 Classic Rib Panel, by itself, is about 38" wide.
Because it is possible for chemicals to be present in rainwater as it falls (acid rain), for chemicals to leach out of metal roof panels and for impurities to be washed off of metal roof panels (dirt and debris), untreated, harvested rainwater is non-potable. Use of non-potable water is appropriate for watering non-edible plants, sewer use and certain industrial uses. Non-potable water is not appropriate for human consumption, animal consumption or watering edible plants. If the intended use of harvested rainwater is human consumption, animal consumption or watering edible plants, then the water must be properly treated, such as filtered, before use. Periodic testing is recommended for rainwater harvesting systems to ensure the treatment is effective.
Online orders have a minimum quantity. If you purchase panels through the ProDesk at the store there are no minimums and you can get the panels shipped to the store in exact lengths cut down to the inch. Visit the Kingman Store ProDesk for more information.
Demand has been high for the past 9 months and Metal Sales is working to get more stores from Home Depot to add stock to for consumer purchases.
This depends on the size of the house, shape of the roof and slope. Contact your local Home Depot ProDesk with photos and dimensions and they can help you determine the parts and pieces needed for your roof.
There are flashings designed for all the applications of a Hip Roof. The ProDesk at your local Home Depot Store can help you determine what flashings work best for each condition. The condition at the 3 way intersection will be covered by cutting and lapping the hip flashings under the ridge flashing.
You'll need an Endwall or Pitch Break Flashing. It is a flashing that attaches to the vertical wall and is bent to the slope of the roof and attaches to the top of the roof panels. You can order them from the ProDesk at your local Home Depot store.

Coverage width for the Classic Rib Panel is 3'. So you'll need 16 panels at 12' for each side. Ball park price for just the panels would be 32 x (12' panel price). You'll need to add in a bag or 2 of screws at the minimum and 5 ridge flashings. Your local Home Depot Store ProDesk can help you determine what the estimate will be.
