Not very well since screws on 1 edge would have to be angled to seat properly. This is is intended for gable roof line trim (Closing wall to slanted roof line. I would look for OUTSIDE CORNER TRIM which is designed for trimming 2 walls meeting at a corner. If not offered by HD, check with a local metal building mfr.

This product looks fantastic, and it was fairly easy to work with. My only recommendation is for buyers to beware of sliding the sheets across one another as you may get scratches. But once installed you can’t see the scratches anyway

Useful on a house, but useless on a shed
This metal trim is so wide, you need 1x8 fascia to attach it to. While that size of fascia is typical on a house, it is not even close to what a person uses for a DIY shed's gable design. For my current needs and my future projects, this trim is a waste of money. Since there is only one bend in the gable trim piece, the most you can do is cut off a sizable width of one side to bring it down to scale with your project. Your still wasting alot of metal. Another solution, however, came in the form of the Eave trim piece. While it also was very large and out-of-scale for a non-house project, the eave trim has 2 bends in it which allows you to cut it in half length-wise. That way you end up with a manageable eave trim size and an acceptable useable gable trim piece. Overall, the quality of the metal is very good ... and my metal woodshed roof looks GREAT ... but sadly, the gable trim remains unused, and therefore a poor choice for projects smaller than a house or garage ...
