It would be better if the wood was painted. Otherwise it is good and substantial. I am painting it myself, which is a pain because the edges are not easy to get to, and paint tends to drip through the handhold cutouts. In every other way it is excellent. Delivery to the store was quick, and curbside pickup made it convenient. I like all the MetalTech scaffold products that I have purchased.

I’ve stacked two scaffolds and climbing on the outside and having to step over the rail at the top just didn’t feel safe. I bought this hatch plank and can now climb up from inside. Only problem is holding the hatch open as you climb up, but it isn’t stopping me and I feel safe.
