Yes very nice and quiet

Overall is pretty good. I am going to skip to the issue part. I used it normally , but it randomly started a clicky sound. I checked around, it is next to fan outside. Shown in pic. Sometimes, when ac is working, the fan will hit this sticker bend. Sometimes won't. (I nearly turn it off. it is on almost all the time.) I am not sure should i call someone to fix this problem or not, or what should I do.

This AC was easy to install. It blows cold air, just what I needed for my garage. I like to work on things in my garage and now I can during the hot AZ summer. I do need to be directly in front of the unit to stay cool enough.

I live in a 2K square feet house and my AC went out. call for service and since it is Summer time here in Jacksonville FL, I knew it would be hard to find someone to come over to fixed my AC . So I decided on this unit because it looked easy to install and the price is not bad. picked up last night installed it in less than 30 minutes. the living room kitchen area and my master bedroom are confortable with the help of ceiling fans. it is Friday late afternoon and i am still waiting for a company to come over to see what is wrong with my unit. about this unit i wish I had another for my upstairs rooms. i do recommend this unit. it is cooling a good portion of my house.

This window A/C unit is a quantum leap above the status quo. Midea is the manufacturer of many recognizable brands of air conditioners, and they also make their own house brand. In the case of this unit, they've pulled out all the stops to produce a unit that is truly exceptional. The unit is designed like a mini-split, with the evaporator coil and blower in the interior section and the compressor, condenser coil, condenser fan, and power electronics in the exterior section. All three motors (compressor, blower, and condenser fan) are variable-speed DC motors, which the unit's electronics ramp smoothly to avoid the harsh cycling sounds and power spikes of traditional units. Moreover, because the motors are variable-speed, the logic drives them only as hard as necessary to achieve the required refrigerant pressures and coil temperatures given the prevailing ambient conditions, meaning this unit is extremely energy efficient and quiet. Owing to the unit's unique form factor, installation is more involved than for a traditional window A/C. If you're taking your time to do it correctly, expect to spend 2-3 hours installing it, and plan to leave it installed year-round. Note that proper installation does require putting screws into your window frame. The included brackets support a wide range of common window sizes. The included Wi-Fi adapter is an intriguing addition. Several different remote control apps are supported. Some information is reported through the Wi-Fi interface that is not available any other way, such as the interior and exterior temperatures. Additionally, the app allows programming a temperature curve to apply while you sleep to optimize your comfort and the unit's energy consumption. It is unfortunate, however, that the Wi-Fi interface apparently requires Internet connectivity and is not designed for local control. This means that the Wi-Fi features will become unusable whenever the company decides to decommission its app servers. One small downside to the smoothly ramping motors is that the compressor motor sweeps through a range of low frequencies, some of which are bound to match a natural resonant frequency of your room. This causes a low-frequency rumble at some compressor speeds, which sounds/feels as though a large diesel truck is idling somewhere outside. It's an acceptable tradeoff for the otherwise fantastic advantages offered by this design. Aside from that, some units will squeak momentarily when ramping up the compressor motor from a stop, partially negating the noise advantage of smoothly ramping the motor up. It appears to be luck of the draw whether you get a squeaky unit. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit as a significant advancement over the old way of building A/C units. Midea are experts in the industry, the manufacturing juggernaut that you've probably never heard of until now, and they've designed a product the way air conditioners should have been built for the last 20 years but haven't been. There is no reason to buy units of the old design anymore. This is the one you want.

I was a little intimidated by having to install the unit because my husband and I are not handy. A quick youtube search lands an easy, how-to guide to follow https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hux4BEKiu6k. We have this in our living room, and it has been keeping my whole house below 75 which is excellent because it was 100 today! My house is around 900 sqft. This thing is stupid quiet! Since this is at the front of my house was a little worried, has security clips that make it tough to pop a window.

This unit is awesome! It cools our master bedroom down very quickly and it’s so quiet compared to the last window ac unit I had (which was a brand new Toshiba). I also love the design because the window is not open as much. My boyfriend installed it in 1.5 hours and said it was easy, most people can do it if they follow instructions. You will need a screw driver, drill, level. Also the app you can download to connect to it with WiFi is awesome…you can change the settings before you get home!

So, my central AC decided to stop running in the middle of a heat wave (of course did, why wouldn't it?). After spending two days without AC, and an internal home temperature of 89 degrees, I had had enough. Decided to pick up this unit based on the great reviews, and I am very impressed so far. The unit isn't super heavy, maybe 60 lbs in the box. Installed easily, and is extraordinarily quiet during operation. Right now it's a very comfortable 75 degrees. So far, so good!!
