AnswerAs far as I can tell the "Plus" have a slight difference in their groove design. The Plus are backwards compatible to the SDS.

Good product if you use it carefully

I bought 2 5/32 in x 6 in for tapcon installation on concrete floor. I use them very carefully. After drilling a hole, drill bit is dipped in water for cooling.
The first bit accomplished about 70 holes. Its tip bent after I drilled 3 holes and forget to cooling it.
The 2nd bit accomplished about 90 holes. and the whole carbide bit is gone. I'm not exactly sure why it fail so badly. Maybe it's due to I had to use it to drill through very thin lay of wood(about 1/8 inch).
The depth of hole is about 2 inch.

I’ve putchase 4 of these so far. The first 2 lasted a decent amount of time before they broke. The 2 that I bought this morning melted after less than a minute of use. Im hoping to find a more relianle brand because I am tired of having to stop working to go to Home Depot for new bits.

Not sturdy

I bought 6 drill bits 5/32 x 6” to drill my basement floor for installing wood subfloor. I was not able to drill one single hole. All 6 bits broke or bent horribly bad. Im very dissapponted. if the length was shorter maybe they would have worked better

Just used this bit this past weekend to drill 15 holes in 50 year old concrete. I did predrill them with a 6" 5/16 bit, but after the first 6" it powered through the remaining 12" on it's own. Overall very happy, no complaints, and bit looks good for many more uses.

Lost the tip and bent easily after a few hours of slab demo. Work great while it was new. Maybe 3/16” would have held up better. Either way back to bosch bulldog
