Misleading
I cut this knife open and discovered the full tang is not in fact full tang. See photo below. Also the sheath sucks.

Best “Hip knife” I ever had.
This thing takes a beating. Stays sharp really well. Is easy out and in sheath. Locks in good. Bought two extra incase they discontinue making it. I hammer on it, scrape with it, and hunt and fish with it. Had it 6 months and sharpened it twice.

Knife is great, sheath snaps.
Most of my landscapers wear your 48-22-1926 knife which is sturdy and works great. Some of them prefer this 48-22-1926 knife, but the plastic belt loop keeps snapping off the plastic sheath. I need help with this, would like to be able to purchase sheath only or find replacement sheaths.

Workhorse knife
these are cheap and hardcore. I abused the crap out of it and the. Simply ground both edged back down to a sharp edge. (Not my original plan but now I have a dagger)
This thing is a tank. I use it for anything and everything and when I jack The edge I simply sharpen it for five minutes then stick it in something new. I have used it for cutting wires, wood, membranes, rope, etc... I’ve even used it to dig out a sprinkler head. 10/10 would recommend.

This 4 inch fixed blade knife is a good addition to my garage. It is well packaged and allows you to clearly see the contents: full knife and sheath.
The knife has a sharp stainless steel blade and an ergonomic handle in the typical red Milwaukee color. It feels good in the hand and is the right weight for typical garage applications. The sheath includes a belt clip and holds the knife in place well. It is sometimes difficult to pull the knife out the sheath unless you hold the sheath in place with the other hand.
In general it is a very good product and I would buy it.

Another excellent tool from Milwaukee, go team red! I really like that Milwaukee got into the hand tool game because they make excellent hand tools at a good price point and this Hawkbill utility knife is no exception it is an excellent tool and I am very pleased with it. It comes with a nice plastic sheath that has a clip so that you can clip it to your belt or pants and the knife securely clips into it and I like that it has a spot in front of the sheath where you can put your thumb to make pulling the knife out of the sheath with one hand very easy. Onto the knife itself it has a very nice and stout blade that is razor sharp and holds it's edge very well. I especially like the handle on it because it is very ergonomic and comfortable, you really need to hold it to appreciate how nice the handle on it is! I like that the handle is nice and big because I have large hands, you can easily push down with your thumb on the handle or if you prefer there is a spot on the back of the blade made for your thumb so you can push down on it there as well, it also has a hole in the back of the handle so that you can add a lanyard if you want to. Overall I am extremely pleased with this knife, Milwaukee sure did their homework when they made this knife and hit a home run! I am glad to add this knife to my tool collection and I know I will get a lot of use out of it for years to come and I highly recommend it!
