Answer48-22-1920 is the only markings on the knife. I use in the Ultra High Voltage industry for skinning wire. Scraping leads on transformers, cutting rope, and the occasional apple. I work outside for a living and haven’t had a Milwaukee knife let me down yet nor have I ever noticed rust. The only problem I have ever had is with the hawk Bill folding knife pocket pin thingy bending easily so I always just take them off. But still amazing knifes. I have Evan skinned a deer with one of these knifes. The Serrated edge helps a lot with tendons.

Knife is great, sheath snaps.
Most of my landscapers wear your 48-22-1926 knife which is sturdy and works great. Some of them prefer this 48-22-1926 knife, but the plastic belt loop keeps snapping off the plastic sheath. I need help with this, would like to be able to purchase sheath only or find replacement sheaths.

Workhorse knife
these are cheap and hardcore. I abused the crap out of it and the. Simply ground both edged back down to a sharp edge. (Not my original plan but now I have a dagger)
This thing is a tank. I use it for anything and everything and when I jack The edge I simply sharpen it for five minutes then stick it in something new. I have used it for cutting wires, wood, membranes, rope, etc... I’ve even used it to dig out a sprinkler head. 10/10 would recommend.

This Knife Cuts Everything
The length of the entire knife is 10 1/2" long with full tang, which means that the blade is also 10 1/2" long. The exposed portion of the stainless steel blade is 5 1/2" long with the smooth & rough cutting edges being 4 1/2" long. It comes with a strong plastic holder that you can attach to your belt. There's a hole in the end of the knife handle. I put a carabiner into the hole and attached it to my belt loop because I don't wear belts. Both sides of the blade are super sharp. It's a good sized knife that is easy to maneuver. It cuts everything. I even used it to cut a thin soft piece of shim wood. I have also taken it in the car with me when going shopping at night, to feel more secure. It's a great all around knife.

good quality knife
This is a very well made duct knife. The metal of the blade runs all the way through the handle making it very very durable. It has a good balance and weight to it. Both edges of the blade were very well sharpened. Its the actual blade that is 5.5 inches (not including the handle). WIth the handle the knife is 10.75 inches long. The handle is fairly comfortable and has a good grip to it. The plastic sheath it comes with is nothing special, but it does hold the knife securely and has a nice belt clip.

Cuts great, sharp and held its edge well enough. The serrated side was super helpful while installing foam board around recess cans, etc.
The belt loop sheath was really the best part, though. Insulating in a poorly lit attic, it kept me from placing the knife on the floor joists or sheetrock below. It probably saved me a trip to the ER, keeping me from slicing my hand open...
