Great job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Sawzall Tourch 7TPI 9” blade and it works wonderful. It was very easy to use, you get a nice smooth cut without the blade getting stuck, there’s no pulling or tugging. The blade was nice and sturdy, there wasn’t any bending involved.

      Strong sharp blade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blade while browsing for blades that would resist bending due to heat. The thin blades that I usually buy just seem to get hot quickly and weaken. I saw this blade and it just screamed robust at me. I had to give it a try, and am glad I did. I used this blade to cut in heat register boot holes in hard dry plywood. One after another it did a great job! Cut right in with precision, none of the usual thin blade wander. The grip in the cut was great and kept the blade right on the stencil lines with ease. Great blade for my rough in needs.

        Durable and capable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heavy duty blade can cut through black pipe, angle iron, cast iron, stainless steel and high strength alloys with ease. This product has optimized tooth design for speed and make's it very durable also. I love that this product is made in the USA, as I love to support our own country by buying our own products and this product is high quality! I am so surprised at the strength and durability of this blade and am very happy with it. I highly recommend this blade!

          Great blade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really a super blade. I used it with a basic Ryobi sawzall and I went through a copper pipe like it was made of soft butter. Even after cutting the pipe, the teeth of the blade seemed unaltered hinting of a surprising longevity for this blade. I am genuinely surprised at how strong and effective this blade. Good price/quality, highly recommend it. Less

Cuts right through cast iron pipe!
I bought these blades for cutting cast iron sewer pipe. They cut right through it easily and last for several cuts before needing replacement. While these blades will fit any reciprocating saw, cutting cast iron requires a high power professional model.

I used this to cut an exhaust pipe and a couple rusted on bolts for an exhaust pipe. Worked good at first but the carbide teeth didn't stay on very long. Part of that may be because the thin wall of the pipe might have caused too much impact. Probably should only be used on a fairly think piece of material to reduce that impact. The used regular bi-metal pipe saws I had with fine teeth seemed to cut through at the same speed and not have all the teeth dulled after. See picture after cutting two nutswith the 10mm bolts in them and one 2" diameter exhaust pipe.

So I had the task of removing a 3 section cast iron steam boiler from my basement that weighed over 600lbs. A friend of mine and tried taking it out strapped to an appliance hand truck and for the life of us we couldn't move it up the stairs. I tried convention diamond sawzall blades and the cast iron destroyed them in about 2 minutes and they couldn't cut through. Then I said for the heck of it let me try one of these. This blade demolished that cast. I was floored at the speed it cut through. About 1 minute a section and through a 1/4 inch central pipe and the boiler fell apart. I will and would 100% reccomend these blades for any serious metal work.

              Worth every penny
I had a 4" cast iron sewer pipe with a clean out that would not break free. I needed to cut the clean out off the pipe to snake the line but didn't want to spend the money on a cast iron cutter. I saw online that you could cut the pipe with a sawzall but it had to have the right metal blade to be able to cut. I must say I was a little sceptical. I walked into home depot and saw the Milwaukee torch blade for 15.97 and thought "that much for a sawzall blade?" Once I got home and started cutting into the cast iron I now see why it was 15.97. It cut thru the cast iron like butter. So if you're ever in a jam and need a blade to cut thru tough, thick metal, this is the blade you need. Thank you Milwaukee for making a tough job much easier.

The Milwaukee 9 in. 7 TPI TORCH Carbide Teeth Metal Cutting SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw Blade (5-Pack) is hands down the best reciprocating saw blade I've ever used. I was recently doing demo on some cabinets that were bolted to a concrete floor. The new cabinets didn't line-up to the existing bolts so the bolts had to be cut away. I was able to quickly cut 42 bolts flush to the floor with a single Torch carbide blade. Every other blade I've used in the past would have been too dull or broke before I could get through 15 bolts. Milwaukee products have really been making an impression on me and this is another Milwaukee product I'm glad to have in my toolbox.

I recently had a chance to use a Milwaukee metal cutting Sawzall blade they call the Torch. What great name since the blade cuts metal with ease, just like a “Torch”. I had several old bed frames where I was salvaging the metal. Bed frame steel is hard and stiff to handle the loads. In the past, cutting this type of steel there was lots of vibration from the Sawzall as it struggled through the steel. With the 7 TPI TORCH blades with carbide teeth, I found that the saw just walked through the steel like a heavy-duty cutoff saw. Cut after cut the blade just kept walking through the steel like a knife through butter. With 25% more carbide per tooth and the optimized tooth design has to be the secret for this blade to work so well. This Milwaukee “TORCH” Sawzall blade has opened up more opportunities for me to use my Sawzall on fit up of new fabrications with steel. I would recommend this blade to anyone cutting black pipe, cast iron or stainless steel. The blade totally met my expectations.

I have used Milwaukee products for years but thought I would try these blades for the first time. I was suprized how well these blades worked. They cut through steel, alunimum, tin and wood with ease. I spent 2 full days with my Sawzall and a 5 pack of the torch blades and cut up an old consession trailer to turn in I to a flat bed. I used all 5 blades but still have 2 in my bag that are usable. Very impressive destruction blade I will buy more in the future.

6" Torch Carbide Teeth Metal Cutting Sawzall Reciprocating Saw Blade (3-pack) gets the job done! The blade is very sharp and rugged for cutting metal. For demonstration proposes, I videoed cutting a thick galvanized metal spike. My battery wasn't fully charged so I didn't finish the cut, but you'll see how effective the blade is for cutting metal. You receive three blades in the package. See pics and video below.

I FOUND THAT THIS Milwaukee 9 in. 7 TPI TORCH Carbide Teeth Metal Cutting SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw Blades CUTS WIRE, METAL TUBING AND WOOD. WHILE CUTTING A 2 X4 BOARD, I HIT A METAL STAPLE AND THE BLADE CUT RIGHT THROUGH IT WITH NO PROBLEM. I FOUND THAT THE BLADES DID CUT STURDY AND DID NOT WOBBLE, MAKING A NICE CUT. THEY WILL ALSO CUT BRICKS AS WELL AS STONES, JUST GREAT

I got the 6" Milwaukee Torch carbide metal cutting sawzall blade for cutting thicker metal when I do not or cannot make use of a chop saw for metal cuts or cutting boards with nails. The 6" Torch can be used on 3/16" to 1/2" hard metals such as cast iron, stainless steel, and thicker metals. I tested the blade on a piece of galvanized metal and it cut fine. Seems to be a quality metal cutting blade.

Although these blades are a bit pricey, I believe they will pay off over the long haul. Their versatility with extreme metal cutting applications requires fewer blades to be in the tool box and they deliver and advertised 50 percent live over standard blades. The teeth contain 25% more carbide for longer life and the 7 teeth per inch allows for fast cutting through thick and difficult metals. I expect this pak of 5 blades to last me a long time compared to the standard blades.

I recently took on a major home repair job. It's involved considerable demo including mason nails, pipes and other metals. I also recently found these sawz all blades from Milwaukee and decided I had to try them. I've used sawz all's for probably 40 plus years and have used probably every available blade there is. This blade is second to none when it comes to cutting through metals of all types including cast iron. This is the first blade I've found that can go through cast and still want more. These are worth every penny.

These carbide teeth blades worked like a charm. I used this on an old pole used for a fence. This worked very well. The reciprocating saw that I used was several years old but this blade was able to get the job done. The blades has a good size weight to it which makes it sturdy and add to the oomph. I purchased several other Milwaukee blades last month that came with a red case, these blades were able to fit into the case just fine , along with the others, which is great. Now I do not have to worry about having them laying around, plus easier to transport

I have a house with old cast iron drain lines. Pretty much anytime I need to do plumbing work, I end up cutting a section of it out and replacing it with PVC. These saw blades are excellent for that purpose. I even use them with a pretty low end reciprocating saw and they still cut great. I am not sure how long the blades last, as I am still using the first one after probably a dozen cuts in 2-4 inch cast iron. It’s apparent they will last a long time. This 5 pack will probably last me 20 years.

Milwaukee 9 in. 7 TPI TORCH Carbide Teeth Metal Cutting SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw Blade (1-Pack) ...
Milwaukee 9 in. 7 TPI TORCH Carbide Teeth Metal Cutting SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw Blade (1-Pack) I tested this blade at a construction site but mainly used for cutting studs imbedded with nails. There were no issues this blade is thicker than the everyday sawzall or reciprocating blades. The blade showed no use except for a little paint loss and some of the teeth were polished. The next day I cut some 3/16-inch-thick angle iron. The blade cut fine and fast with no issues. It should be noted it left the metal on both sides of the cut smooth without and burrs. See photos. The blades are primarily designed cutting heavy metal, angle Iron, cast iron, and stainless-steel material. These blades are more expensive than typical metal cutting thin disc. I did not have the need to cut a lot of material, so I can’t comment on the longevity of the blade per cuts vs discs. The last photo shows just a little bit of teeth wear when laid next to a stainless ruler. Last observation when cutting with s disc blade there is a substantial amount of sparks. When cutting the 3/16 inch thick angle iron with a reciprocating blade there was only maybe 4 to 6 sparks during the cutting time. If there is a chance or fire danger, such a cutting metal fencing in fields this would be the go to blade of choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a SAWZALL® TORCH™ 7 TPI 9" Carbide Blades from TryIt. The blade is great for all types of jobs with my Sawzall. One of the handiest samples I've received. It hasn't broken or bent yet, which some of the cheaper blades do quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blade's bigger teeth allow for quicker, easier cutting than other metal-cutting blades. The cuts were cleaner from using this blade than using a torch. Although it is made with global parts, I do appreciate that it is made in the USA.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sawzall is a brand that I count on for things like cutting trees and branches. This blade cut like a hot knife through butter when I cut a branch that fell from the last storm. Well done on the manufacturing of this product, it seems to be very durable and I think it would handle most size tree branches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Milwaukee carbide blades are about the best there is. We use them for for fire/rescue on our trucks. We carry a variety of lengths and teeth arrangements. You still have to pay attention and match the correct TPI to the application because even with a carbide blade, you will knock the teeth off if you are cutting a material that is too thin.
