Great Utility Bucket
This is a canvas utility bucket. It can be used as a tool bag by people who work outside such as telephone linemen. I am not a telephone lineman and I already have a tool box but I found that I can use it for other purposes. I accumulate recyclables in my kitchen and take them out to the recycling bin in the garage once a week. Many times the pile is too big so I have to make more than one trip. But with this bucket, I fill it up with recyclable and can carry everything in one trip. Also, I periodically carry things in from the garage, such as rolls of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. I fill this bucket up and it is easy to carry whatever I need without dropping anything. It can also be used to carry gardening supplies. They thought of everything. They is a large carabiner, a carrying strap, the bag stays open by itself but collapses down to nothing, there are weep holes on the bottom to drain water, and the base is heavy duty molded plastic. My only issue is on the tag, it says “Easiest Attatchment”. The word “attatchment” is misspelled with an extra “t” in the middle. One would think that a big company like Milwaukee would get the spelling right.

Huge
Milwaukee 48-13-7809 Linemans 22” Fiberglass Auger 15/16”. That is pretty close to an inch thick. Intended for composite and fiberglass poles and arms. Recommended for the 2865-20 Shockwave Utility impact due to the 7/16” hex chuck. Not for drilling metals and concrete. The heavy duty bits design of the cutters is much different than the tools used on those type materials. I give you a few good photos of the cutting edges and the carbide tip. It's sort of self-cleaning. It comes in a heavy duty storage tube.

Excellent tool
The Milwaukee 13/16 in. x 22 in. SHOCKWAVE Lineman's Fiberglass Drill Bits are engineered to deliver linemen cleaner, straight through holes in composite and fiberglass utility poles and crossarms. The bit features a carbide tip for a faster, cleaner cut and best life. The 22 in. long bit is designed to pass through power utility poles and arms in a single pass. This eliminates the need to flip over the pole, line up holes and drill through the other side. The 7/16” hex shank allows for a quick connection. I found that this worked well for wood poles also, the carbide bit lasts longer than other designs.

I like this Milwaukee canvas bucket a lot. I do mainly exterior carpentry work on ladders and scaffolding and like using these buckets because I can take them with me up the ladder and have everything, well almost everything unless I forget it, within my reach. I've had many different models and versions of this general type of bucket and so far am pleased. The canvas is thick and strong, the bottom is solid and stops tool penetration, it is wide enough for certain power tools, and the loop and clip are pretty decent. The clip is nice that it swivels and I usually end up adding another large hook anyway. Even though I treat all my tools with respect I do not baby them. They get used every day for professional work. These canvas buckets have always been good to me, and I can tell this Milwaukee is good just like the others. A must have if you're doing any work at heights.

SUMMARY: DISAPPOINTED. A NICE BUCKET BAG, BUT DEFINITELY NEEDS A BIGGER HOOK. NOTE: If the restrictions imposed by the hook are not important, this may be the bag you want. But if you need versatility on how and where you hang it, the restrictions due to the size of the hook may be a deal breaker. BACKGROUND: I’m not a lineman or electrician. As a DIYer I’ve got a dozen different bags and totes, but sometimes you just want something you can throw tools in and hang off the ladder or rafter when you work. The chance to evaluate the Milwaukee Canvas Bucket Bag was too good to pass up. FIT AND FINISH: This is a nice bag. Heavy canvas. The hook is sturdy with a heavy swivel. Same quality I see in my other Milwaukee tools. FEATURES: From the Home Depot page, with my comments as appropriate. • Large, swiveling metal carabiner for the easiest attachment. The carabiner with a large gate opening allows users to clip it into place wherever they are working. o Not really. A big hook, just not quite big enough. It would hook on a work belt loop, but on my short step ladder, it would only hook on a couple of places; one was too low to reach tools and on the top rung it was difficult to hook or unhook, especially with tools in the bag. o I tried hooking it on some 1” EMT and again, the hook was too small. It wouldn’t come close to hooking around or even on a 2x4. Very disappointing. • Impact-resistant base and reinforced number 6 canvas for lasting durability. o Wikipedia gives this for the canvas: No. 6 (21 oz/sq yd or 710 g/m2): utility bags, place mats, belting. • Rated for up to 75 lbs. of carrying capacity. o That’s a good load for a bucket bag. • Built-in weep holes allow water drainage after extended jobsite use. o Or sawdust in my case. • Reinforced ring keeps the bag open for a longer-lasting storage solution. o One of the nice features is the open top, like a 5-gallon plastic bucket. • Collapsible for easy storage. o The top collapses onto the bottom for a total height of under 3 inches. Great for loading up for a job, then unloading and storing after. • Limited lifetime warranty. OPERATION: Pop her open, throw your stuff in and climb the ladder. Afterwards unload, collapse, and store. SUMMARY: A fair addition to my tool bag collection. A larger hook would make it much more versatile. PROS: CONS: Hook is too small to be effective.

As with most any Milwaukee product, this bit proves it weight. A 15/16 x 22 inch all purpose auger bit, it's listed as engineered for fiberglass and/or composite material. This is the kind of bit you might find in the tool bag of a commercial lineman. With it's long length it can easily reach your work from 30 inches or more when it's in your drill motor but you can't. It drills precise holes in all types of materials. I drilled wood planks and even concrete using any of my Milwaukee 1/2 inch drill motors or the shank is hexed for dedicated drill motors. Hammer drills and regular, corded and battery. It drilled cleanly and precisely with no evident damage. If you need larger bits often, these are the bits you want.

Engineered for commercial applications, you can have the same quality and precision of this high grade bit. This is the kind of bit you would find in a line mans tool bag. Designed for fiberglass and/or composite applications, this bit will do much more. 11/16 diameter, it is 22 inches long, is perfect for when you need a long reach auger bit with no obstructions. And though it's rated for fiberglass and composite materials. it will precisely drill wood and even concrete as I found using it in my 1/2 Milwaukee corded and non corded, hammer and non hammer drills. The shank is hexed and design to be used in dedicated drill motors but perfectly fits any 1/2 drill chuck. This bit took a beating and didn't mar the blades at all.

The Milwaukee 11/16 inch fiberglass auger bit is the typical high quality you get from Milwaukee. Made for drilling into fiberglass or composite poles, it is long enough to do it in one pass. It is available in two sizes, 12 inch and 22 inches. The tip is carbide to make your cuts easy and quick and the auger come in a case that is great to store the bit when not in use. It has a padded insert to protect the cutting edge.
