Great set. Works flawlessly. A real game changer when it comes to running gas piping. All you need is a bandsaw or steel pipe cutters and some viega fittings and your ready to start installing black pipe. Highly recommended to anyone who’s looking to get away from threading pipe or welding. If you know how to read a tape measure, and can pull the trigger on a battery drill this is a great easy to use product

I guess the best thing you can say about any product is that it does the job that it's supposed to do and that it does it consistently well. That about summarizes my experience with this tool and really with Milwaukee tools in general. This is a very well made, sturdy, heavy duty tool for a job that requires both power and precision. Highly recommended.

This is a great addition to your ½-2" M18 press Tool Kit. The case is well made and sturdy to protect the tools inside. Each press has a moulded fit to prevent travel when closed. No matter how hard you bang around the case, the tools remain well protected and in place. Each press is machined for a precise crimp when used. The compressions are uniform and do not leak when prepared and aligned correctly. Each press is easily removed from the work and can crimp in fairly limited spaces. The M18 Press easily changes from one press size to another.

Amazing technology using these jaws in conjunction with the long throw M18 Force Logic Press tool. When Home Depot finally offered set of rings this I immediately jumped on this and am scheduled to train with one of the company pipe fitters so I can get “up to speed” using my own set of larger press tools. In the interim I’m researching away literally book learning how this paradigm has shifted away from old school welding with mandatory permits and very intrusive restrictions are no longer major issues to commercially fit larger diameter steel piping. This set of rings along with the long throw M18 press tool is extremely heavy in weight so 2 people minimum (sometimes 3 bodies!) are normally mandated where I work. Forget about using the 5 or 9amp M18 batteries with this tool …. you want as light as possible in weight especially when you are way up in the air joining cast iron pipe so be sure and have a few of the lighter weight 3-amp M18 packs for your job or project. First few project our lead supervisor mandates that the new guy simply watch and carefully observe. Reasons are obvious …. A ruined crimp costs a minimum of $75-200 for a replacement XL fitting. Each fitting weighs 2-5 pounds….wow! Short of these caveats this new tool technology will eliminate cumbersome torches, hoses, and tanks of gas. Cleanup alone makes pressing the obvious choice. The end result is with proper planning you can finish a job in a day or less. Amazing technology thanks to Milwaukee and Viega!

It works fine,but the machine it’s self is to LONG! We used it on top of duct work and had to rent another company’s product the has a pistol gripe. If your in a fab shop it’s great, there you have plenty of room! But in commercial service space is almost always a issue. Please redesign and we would buy more of them. But for now we only purchase a competitors product.
