25 ft. Low and Mid Flex Fiberglass Fish Stick Combo Kit with Accessories

I really enjoy this set of glow rods and have been using them mostly for low voltage cable runs. I’d have to agree about the quality aspect with the connections separating. I even had one of the high flex rods break off and I wasn’t even doing a heavy duty cable pull. It would be nice to have a more robust anchor point for the connections however I plan on purchasing another set because they do make work easier.

This is a most have in your repertoire of tools for electrical work if you are trying to run wires or even security cameras at the professional level or DIYer will save time and a headache. The easement of running a wire thru confined tight areas like an attic is a breeze with this tool I was able to take on a job that was over thinking for months and when it was done took me less than thirty mins to accomplish.I must have use this item more than a few times already and always comes in clutch and well built and durable.

While these sticks do glow extremely well which has come in handy while in a ceiling their durability is beyond lacking. One connector completely fell off while others have started separating from the stick. Most of these pulls are on wire trays or bridle rings above the ceiling. Just haven't held up. I will say they haven't splinted which is nice. The case is also very nice.

I had to run 2 wires through 20 feet of finished basement ceiling. Fortunately it had an opening at one end in a small unfinished room. But, the other end opened up in a 6" gap between a fire stop wall with a water meter in front of it. I knew if I hired an electrician to do it, it would have cost a small fortune just for the obstacles. These wire fishing sticks work great! Fortunately, I'm small and somewhat flexible as it still took some creative manuvering to access the wires in the 6" gap. But, I did the job in about an hour. I didn't know the sticks glow in the dark so that was an appreciated bonus.

For such a simple tool, Milwaukee really had some great improvements over the competition. For one, these are so bright, it’s hard to believe there’s no battery in there. The knurled geips at connecting points are brilliant. Such a help especially with wet hands or when wearing gloves. The storage tube cap is connected so I won’t lose it like I always used to. The cap even has storage for the hook and pulling accessories. Highly recommend!!!

The engineers at Milwaukee fixed every complaint regarding Fish Sticks that I've ever had. This kit rocks, just blown away by the attention to detail for not just the tool, but the tool case as well. First they fixed the issue of loosing the cap to the carry tube by attaching it to the tube. No more cheesy thin plastic for the tube either, it's beefy and strong to stand up to abuse in the truck or job site. Next they captured the bullet nose and hook in the cap, although these attachments do dislodge during heavy vibration in my truck so they could make the holder tighter. Now go to the other end of the tube, the cap is glued on for all eternity so no more loosing that thing. Now lets talk about the fish sticks themselves. Glow in the dark, check, splinter free coating, check, extra durable attachment points, check, bigger threads on the attachments, yep, different flex rated sticks included, yes sir. These things are my new go to favorites. I am throwing my old set from another supplier away.

great time saver! for many years i have fished romex up and down inside walls by straightening it out and hoping it heads in the right direction or using a fish tape and try to find the hole. with the fish sticks i can aim directly at the hole and pull straight. the flex allows me greater access in the attic and allows me to pull it out a hole in the wall. i like both ends (a hook) for catching wire in a hole and (a eyelet) for pulling wire. the sticks also glow to make seeing them in the wall easy. great for wiring recessed lights too.

So much better (in my opinion) than a fish tape! I feel like I have much more control when pulling a wire through the wall when I use fishing sticks compared to fish tape. This set is one of the best I have used! It has 4 low flex sticks and one mid flex stick. That makes fishing long distances much easier. There's two accessories, the hook and the eyelet. They screw in very easy, make a solid connection, and come apart when I am done. What more can you ask for? Well, how about awesome glow in the dark capability? Yep they glow in the dark very well. The storage tube is convenient and durable. And on top of everything else, I love the lifetime warranty. Milwaukee, you've won again with this product!

I chose the 25 ft low and mid flex fiberglass fish stick combo kit with accessories for use in running wires in the walls and ceiling of my house. They are incredibly useful and I love that they glow in the dark and are very easy to keep track of when working with them. The cap is attached to the packaging, which goes on easily every time and has kept me from losing the fish sticks when they fall out, especially when they are in a hard to reach place. I recommend using these every time.

I have used my old no name brand fish tape for years and years but there are some places it just doesn't work due to insulation or some other obstacle in the wall or ceiling. This Milwaukee 25 ft. low and mid flex fish stick is perfect because it has enough flex with the mid flex stick and the low flex stick to bend into the tight areas and stiff enough to push through insulation with no problems. I just installed a 4" LED light directly over my shower in the MBR bathroom and I couldn't get my fish tape to push past all the framing and insulation up there. My main problem was I couldn't even tell where I was stuck at. After putting these fish sticks in direct sunlight for 30 seconds they glowed like a Christmas tree. I was able to bend them up through the one hole over towards the other hole and see that they were hitting the framing in the attic. Once I saw what they were hitting I was able to angle them in such a way that my wife was able to reach through the hole and grab the end of it. Without these fish sticks there was no way I would have been able to run my wiring. If you are running wiring of any kind in an attic, wall or even under a house this 25 ft. combo kit is perfect. I wish I would have had this for running all my cat 5e, coax & surround sound wiring over the years. It would have made life much easier. Milwaukee did a fantastic job with the construction of these fish sticks. The male and female ends of the fish sticks are knurled on both ends making it easy to twist them together. The coating on the sticks make them super smooth with no feeling of the fiberglass splintering on your fingertips. The color coding and clear labeling make them super easy to tell the low flex stick easily from the mid flex stick. The hook and loop used for tying your wiring to is the perfect size for pulling through tight places. You can make these fish sticks glow with a flashlight or by placing in direct sunlight for just 30 seconds. They glow no like no ones business. If you are a homeowner or a journeymen electrician these are by far the best tool on the market for fishing wires through hard to reach places. I'm looking forward to using these for years and years. The overall fit and finish of these is perfect. Milwaukee did a fantastic job of engineering these and really thought out how to create the perfect fish stick for pulling wiring.
