AnswerThis tape measure has a Ltd Lifetime Warranty for the original tape measure. The warranty is for defects in material and workmanship but, does not include normal wear and tear.

Sent one of these out for warranty work as the tape had broke at the 22.5" mark with only minimal use. After a few days it was returned with a note stating: "After evaluating the following measuring tape, it has been determined the following item does not qualify for a warranty repair/replacement. Please refer to manual or https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Support/Registration-and-Warranty". Whats the sense of offering a warranty if the item doesn't qualify? Needless to say I'll be avoiding all Milwaukee branded products in the future.

Certain brands are synonymous with quality tools and Milwaukee is one of them. The fit and finish and build quality are exeptional. If you use a tape all day as part of your job you'll appreciate the quality every time you whip this out.
This unit was purchased to replace a DeWalt model that the blade lock function ceased to operate after only 2 years.
I anticipate getting years of reliable service out of this tape.
Some of the great features are:
- the back of the blade has same measurement indications as front of blade
- the magnetic tip, it's why I chose this one over non-magnetic models
- the blade is stiff enough to stand erect out to 8' horizontally

These have the best magnets but the blades are terrible. It didn't last one full day in the field. I was using this brand new tape measure for layout and it kinked around the 10" mark. I'll be going back to fatmax.

Love it. Use the magnetic tip/hook for holding small nails to get them started, also helps with awkward spots to measure put tape hook against a nail. Back has BIG markings which really helps with measuring overhead. And, has an architectural scale on the back. The nifty finger opening underneath to hold the tape makes holding the tape in place a breeze.

My old one finally crapped out and I went in search of a replacement , my only issue with this tape is that the metal hook on the end doesn't hang down past the body of the tape measure, and therefore you cant just hook it on material and pull a measurement. Might not be a big deal to some, but it is very irritating to me

This is the best tape measure I've ever used in 32 years as a woodworking professional. Durable, ergonomically and functionally better than any of the competition. I liked it so much that I bought 8 of them in case they change the design in the near future.
