Don't recommend this to any mechanic
This tool box is made very cheaply do be deceived by the Milwaukee brand, sliders are made cheaply broke 3 in les than 6 months, locking mechanism partially works, definitely not made to carry much stuff inside

Paint issues.
I purchased this after my craftsman was damaged during a move. This help up good for the first year, then it started to have paint issues. It was losing the paint from the underside portion of the drawers. Since there is no contact with any tools or anything else this is obviously a paint adhesion issue.

I wish I read the reviews on the Milwaukee site...
My wife bought me this cabinet as a gift 3 years ago. I told her that you can't go wrong with Milwaukee products based on the quality and warranty support. Unfortunately, I recently removed the bottom drawers and discovered extensive rust and bubbling paint. I'm not sure if the steel has contaminants or if it is a case of poor paint coverage on the interior of the cabinet. As you can see in the photos, the metal is bare in spots. Also, the powder coat appears to have "slumped" in some locations, again leaving base metal.
This cabinet was used for light-duty, homeowner applications. I expected so much more from Milwaukee in terms of quality assurance.

Bad quality.
Very bad leverage. It’s really hard to lock it or unlock it . So It’s exposed to be open easily.

Cant beat it for the price
Especially if you use milwaukee power tools already the price point is nice for an entry level tool chest. If I run out of room I will be getting another one. Not a fan of the top option but that’s just my preference.

Awesome so big and high quality
This tool chest is amazing. My husband still can’t believe how big it is and how organized he is now thanks to this. He is a big Milwaukee fan, loves the power bar.

Great Box
I purchased this to use in my work van (2019 Ram Promaster). Fits in perfectly. The drawers are bigger than most boxes as it fits a deep cut bandsaw in both the bottom drawers on the left side of the box. The battery and tool organizer also fits other brands of batteries (Dewalt).

Love the box! Great bang for buck! I'm a maintenance mechanic in a chocolate factory. Tight areas around wrapping machines. Was using a tool cart but found I had tools on top of tools. This box provided the room needed to expand but stay pretty mobile. Only thing I upgraded was to poly casters. Better rolling on concrete all day and less vibration messing up tool organization.
