Every handy person needs to own one of these fish sticks in their arsenal. This 5 foot stick made of fiberglass bends and gives just the right amount for you to fish a wire through wall insulation without losing control. No worry of electrical conduction which means no chance of electrical shock. These are threaded so if you want to add other sticks to extend your reach, no problem.

I really like this stick. It's pretty heavy duty and has very little flex. That isn't always a great option, but when one wants the low flex it's great. I used two to fish through a hole in a fire block and it was the easiest attempt I've ever had. The tip takes a little bit of effort to start to unscrew, which is also a good thing. It does have some flex it in, it takes a bit of effort but I was able to get about a 45 degree angle without it breaking. I didn't try to go further, I figured that was enough.

Caveat - I am a huge Milwaukee fan. But I have used Milwaukee tools for years and they have never failed to disappoint. Given a choice between Milwaukee and other tool brands, I will generally choose Milwaukee simply because years of experience have proven to me that Milwaukee tools will get the job done and last for countless future jobs. Buy right - buy once! Buy wrong - buy over again. I picked up a couple of these to snake some wiring for a security camera system. These fiberglass fish rods are a life saver. Fishing wire can be incredibly time consuming and frustrating. Why subject yourself to all the hassle when the right tools can make the job so much easier. These are the right tools! I have the low flex versions but they come in different flexes based on your needs. The knurled ends make it easy to snugly connect multiple sections without fear of them coming apart in the middle of a job. The bullet nose tip is relatively easy to maneuver and large enough to securely attach a wire or pull cord. And these really show up well in the dark. Yet one more reason I am a huge Milwaukee fan.

Milwaukee low-flex fish stick with bullet nose tip. This has been very handy. I’ve used it to help run wires in boats it’s also helped with running wires in cars It work for anything you need help getting wire. Rope. Etc through tight or hard to reach areas. And it glows in the dark so it’s easy to see if you happen to drop it or loose it just look for it when it’s dark and trust me it glows like a glow stick so it’s very easy to see. If your needing something like this I’ll recommend trying this one it’s been great

The 5 ft. Low Flex Fiberglass Fish Stick Kit with Bullet Nose Tip is a handy item to have when fishing wires in places that are not very accessible. There is just enough flex in the stick to allow it to be pushed into spaces that are not exactly straight. I used it to pull speaker wires and cables through my entertainment center when I upgraded to a new tuner/amplifier. The five foot length and low flex were excellent for pushing wires for a new light from the hole where the new light switch would be mounted to the baseboard outlet four feet directly below it that I was tapping for electricity. With the wall filled with fiber glass insulation the fish stick worked. The bullet nose tip was the right tip for both projects.

Great for fishing across t-bar ceilings. The fact that it is firm prevents it from sagging and getting stuck as much. Each one is nice and long so you don't need as many to reach as far. They just feel solid, like they are going to last a very long time. It GLOWS, even in a room with light still present you can see them glowing in the corner. With no light its crazy how bright they are.

This is a high quality ‘Low Flex’ fish stick that matches the amount of flex that is advertised. I’m well versed running/fishing various types of wire and the right equipment makes all the difference. My observations: • This Low Flex fish stick includes the 5’ stick and a bullet nose tip. • I appreciate the clear, colored markings along with the larger font to clearly see which stick I’m grabbing. • The glow in the dark is appreciated and plenty bright enough for my applications. • Of course these all connect to each other allowing you to build a long enough stick to get where you need to go. • With this being ‘low flex’ it’s also the thickest of the stick options in their line. As I mentioned above the flex is exactly what I would expect and matches what is advertised. It’s ideal for more aggressive pulling and pushing. • Easy to thread connections even with gloves or wet environments. • My overall inspection and usage found no concerns. This high quality item matches what I’ve come to expect from Milwaukee. This is another top notch option from their ever growing line of products. I recommend based on its quality and versatility.

I did not realize when I ordered, but was pleasantly surprised to discover that the fish stick is glow in the dark. When working inside walls and unlit ceilings, which is often the case pulling wire, the glow in the dark feature makes it much easier to locate the rod. Additionally, the ability to thread multiple rods together provides long reach, minimizing the need for additional holes. The rods are well built and able to push/pull through insulation. The medium flex rod provides firm structure while still providing some flex for maneuvering around corners.

These fiberglass flex sticks are the cat's meow. Fish tapes are what we use 99% of the time but occasionally we find ourselves pulling specialty cables outside of conduit. These fish sticks allow us to join multiples until we get the necessary length. And with three different flexibility options, all of our bases are covered. I cannot say enough good things about these fish sticks. Heavy duty and all purpose.
