This is a nice, basic and simple rechargeable flashlight. It is small and lightweight and does not offer many features. The advantage is that it is rechargeable and easy to carry and to use. Because it is rechargeable, battery is built in. USB charging cord is included. The flashlight has a pretty powerful magnet that can attach the light for portability. It also has a clip that has two ways of clipping on. There is also charging indicator light. It is about 4" long. Overall, it is a nice small rechargeable light that has a magnet, clip, and basic functions.

COMPACT; STRONG LIGHT: HANDS-FREE OPTIONS; LONG CHARGE TIME — The Milwaukee 500 Lumens EDC Everyday Carry Internal Rechargeable Flashlight with Magnet, Black provides an incredible amount of light for such a small flashlight. On high beam, it will light up our entire crawl space. The flashlight is so small that it fits easily into a pocket with a clip that is reversible. The reversible clip allows it to be attached to a hat brim or other object to provide hands-free lighting. I found that using a headlamp is easier that reversing the clip and placing the flashlight on the brim of a hat. There may be other situations though where it would be useful to reverse the clip and attach it to something. The end has a strong magnet so if there is metal is in the vicinity of its use, the magnet provides another way to achieve hands-free usage. It has three light levels. The greater the light level, the lower the run time. When using 500 lumens, the runtime is about 3½ hours. It took nine hours to charge. For three seconds when the flashlight is turned on or turned off, an indicator on the side displays a color indicating the range of the charge remaining. That information should help the user keeping the flashlight charged for when it is needed. It is made in China.

When I think about needing to buy more alkaline batteries every 3-4 months and think of all the equipment alkaline batteries have destroyed with their leaking chemicals (like our many flashlights in our storm shelter), it’s well worth the price to upgrade our flashlights to those that have these lithium rechargeable batteries. Plus, no more tons of alkaline batteries that we have to take to our city’s water department for hazardous waste disposal. We like that this rechargeable flashlight is easy to adjust between the 3 levels of light emitted and the ‘High’ level is very bright at 500 lumens. This Milwaukee flashlight is very sturdy, very compact, and feels solid in our hands. Its reversible belt clip makes it easy to carry and we like that we can attach the flashlight to the brim of our baseball caps which makes it easier for us to do upgrade work inside our personal computers. The magnet on its base is very strong and I had no problems sticking it to the side of our toolbox. The USB charging cable is 2 feet long and the flashlight length is 4 ¼ inches with a diameter of 15/16 inches (1 1/8 inch diameter if I include the belt clip.). This flashlight also comes with very detailed instructions and a 2 year warranty. Designed by Milwaukee Tool, Brookfield, WI, USA and made in China. Highly recommend!! We love it!!

This small hat clip flashlight is very versatile from attaching to your cap in dark and cramped places to just carrying as a pocket camera. The beam is strong, and the light has various color lights to define the amount of charge. The colors are red (No power), Orange (half power) and green (Full power). When I received the flashlight, it was low on charge and would not light, so I charge from my computers USB port and the flashlight was fully charged in about 1 1/2 hours. I would recommend this flashlight to anyone as the uses from working to just around the home for having a light when needed would be valuable.

Milwaukee 500 Lumens EDC Everyday Carry Internal Rechargeable Red Flashlight with Magnet is a handy item. The pocket clip and an additional opening so the flashlight can be attached to the bill of a cap. The magnet on the end can hold the flashlight for hands free operation providing there is a ferrous surface to attach it. The magnet can also be used to pick up objects. There are 3 beam intensities. Holding the ON/OFF while the flashlight is on causes it to go the the next beam intensity. Just toggling the flashlight on brings it on to the previously set beam intensity. There is a cord included for charging from a USB port. All in all, a nice bright flashlight in a compact size.

I'm a flashlight guy I have so many. Well this Milwaukee 500 lumens rechargeable flashlight is one compact flashlight. This flashlight comes with a braided USB charge cable but not the charging block. Don't let the compact size fool you. There is three levels of light. The switch for the flashlight is on the side of the flashlight. Not on the end like most modern flashlights of today. Also there is no strobe option. And also there's a on board battery light/charge lights the let you know the battery charge level. Which includes a green yellow and red lights on the side of the flashlight. That displays each time the flashlight is operated. The flashlight's brightest light is a nice solid beam of light. The other two levels of brightness are much dimmer. Which is nice option sometimes flashlights can be too bright for the job. For me they're was a learning curve to cycle through the three degrees of light brightness. It's just a matter of holding the button to cycle through the brightness levels. The flashlight lense does get pretty warm on the brightest setting. After just a few minutes of operation. And also the flashlight remembers the brightness from the last use of the flashlight. The pocket clip on the side of the flashlight also offers a clip to attach to your hat for two handed use of this flashlight. Pretty cool feature not all compact flashlights offer this. As with most modern flashlights of today this Milwaukee flashlight is waterproof and dustproof. Plus Milwaukee offers a two year warranty on this compact flashlight too. Overall one nice compact flashlight that checks all the boxes.

Milwaukee EDC flashlight (Model 2011R) is designed in the US and made in China, though I think the packaging is made on Krypton because it's virtually indestructible. Once I cut/sawed/sliced and pried the flashlight, cable and instructions out I found a great little light with a strong magnetic base and a two-way pocket clip so it can be stowed in a pocket pointing up or down. It doesn't really work pointing “up” in a shirt pocket but it's terrific in a tool bag or on the brim of a hat. The charging cable is short but well made, with braided cable sleeve and metallic USB plugs, USB-A on one end and a micro-USB on the other. I expected a more modern Type C plug on one end, so it could be inserted “up” or “down” but that's the one disappointment in this unit. On the plus side it's a full blown USB cable and works for data transfer when used on other devices. Similar rechargeable units provide charging-only cables, and it's easy to mix them up in the ever-growing pile of USB cables we all collect. The charging jack is hidden under a rubber tab rather than the rotating sleeve found on some other rechargeable flashlights. The light will not operate while the battery is charging. There is a stylish LED bar by the jack showing red, amber or green to show charge level, plus modes to indicate hot or cold battery. The light can be set at three intensities, all with a bright center spot and a dimmer outer ring for area illumination. The brightest is only 500 lumens, not nearly as bright as other small flashlight but sufficient for most up close use. Changing modes requires holding the on/off switch for about 2 seconds; the light cycles through its modes until the button is released. The unit has “memory” so that when turned off it remembers the last setting then turns back on at the same brightness. At 4.25 inches long and under an inch in diameter (not counting the clip) it's a great unit for everyday carry. The whole unit, including cable, is made with the quality and style typical of Milwaukee, with textured metal grip, red Milwaukee trim, and a heftiness that screams long-lasting precision. The cost is high for most of us, but not out of line with other top-quality providers. There are brighter, cheaper flashlights and pen lights available, but not of this quality.

Great lite until it burnt a hole though the lens. I have had this light for about a year and use it every day until tonight when I found out it melted the lens after using on high for about 20 minutes.
