I have numerous screwdrivers, but no Stubby Ratchetting. Saw this combo on Sale, but was apprehensive, because I have a Milwaukee 11-in-1 Non-Ratcheting, and the tips fall out all the time. So bad, I do not use it if I am working in an area, where if dropped, I can not find quickly (e.g. lawn). So far, these work great. The ratchet is tight and easy to change directions. If it lasts a few years, it will be worth it.

Good product, ratcheting action is solid. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a spare slot or two for additional bit types Star bits are used frequently by me, for example, but not included with screwdriver and no spare spaces are available for additional bits.

This seems to be a good quality, solidly built tool, but it has a major design flaw. The storage slots will not hold 2" bits. I bought this with the intention of swapping out a couple of the bits that came with it for some of my own to customize it for my specific needs, but standard bits (2" or 1") do not fit in the storage slots in the handle. The 2" bits are too long, and the 1" bits are too short. Not only do I have to carry the bits that Milwaukee thinks I need rather than the ones I actually need (multiple torx or hex sizes, for example), but I also will not be able to replace the bits as they wear out or get lost. Once again, Milwaukee overlooks the obvious in its quest to get overpriced tools to market. Without the ability to store other, standard-sized bits, this tool will prove to be largely useless. I will most likely be returning it, which is (once again) disappointing, because as far as size and use go, it fits my needs perfectly. In the photo of the three bits, note the size of the bits that come with the driver (silver) next to the two most common size bits (black), 2" and 1" (both Milwaukee brand bits, I might add). In the photo of the screwdriver, note the 2" (Milwaukee brand) bit sticking out from the butt end of the driver.

A LOT of capability in a small package! At only 4.5” long, this Milwaukee 8-in-1 bit driver (Model 48-22-2320) includes 7 different, high-strength driver bits, a 3-position ratchet (counter-clockwise, clockwise, and locked) and a well-contoured handle that provides a firm grip and lots of torque. The bits are held into the shaft with a perfectly sized magnet, holding the bit securely while allowing easy removal. The extra bits are stored in channels in the handle, with just enough length to fit a finger/thumb to push the bit out. Unfortunately, the fit is so tight it can be difficult to remove the bits and I often use one bit to push out others. On the plus side, there is no chance the bits will fall out by mistake. The selection of bits is excellent (2 Phillips, 2 slotted, 2 square and a Torx) and each is engraved with a part number and a size, e.g. SQ 2, T 15. The tool is perfectly weighted and balanced for my hands and the overall quality is outstanding. I generally don't like using “stubby” screwdrivers, but this unit has changed my mind.

This is a great around the home product. I have lots of power tools that includes many screwdriver options. But, to be honest sometimes I just need a hand tool to use around the house. Something I can grab quickly and tighten something that has come loose. The nice thing about this set is that it comes with slotted, Philips and square tips. There is a total of 7 tips. The extras are all stored in the handle and are easy to remove. It comes with a ratchet action which allows you to ratchet the bit left, right or keep it rigid both ways. The piece if very well made, durable and has an extended reach screw shank. It comes with a standard 5-sided insert so that you can insert any compatible tips that you may have. All in all a great around the house tool that you can grab to fix a multitude of quick jobs.

Fit-anywhere size and able to handle a lot of torque, this little ratcheting screwdriver is convenient and can handle real jobs. The bits are very secure in the handle and when loaded into the ¼ head they stay tight in there. They can be swapped into a power tool, which is nice to have an extra of each bit handy. The size of the tool makes it perfect for a drawer or glovebox or a small tool pouch. If I could make one change, I’d made the cut out where the bits are stored a little deeper so when using another bit to remove the new bit, they would go out just another 1/8” out the back to make the end easier to grab. Otherwise this ratcheting driver is just about perfect. It’s worth mentioning again that this tool is tough, really tough. I didn’t expect it to handle all the torque I could put on it; impressive.

Another quality product from Milwaukee. This 9 in 1 ratcheting screwdriver is just the prefect screwdriver. The screwdriver has a ratcheting position for tightening and loosening a screw and then a neutral position to disengage the ratcheting action so you can use as a normal screwdriver. The screwdriver has built in bit storage within the handle and the bits are held in pretty firmly so you do not have to worry about the coming out. That is also a slight con in my eyes because you need something to help you push the bits out of the handle, I generally use the bit I am replacing to assist in pushing out the bit I need. The screwdriver comes with 2 Phillip heads, 2 flat head and 3 hex bits. Another nice feature is the bits provided can be used in your power tools so it makes it a very versatile tool. The handle feels very nice in the hands and does not feel too bulky even with the on board storage. I would definitely recommend this screwdriver to someone on the job site or a DIYer.

Set is well made, very compact. All the bits fit in their slots easily and it works well. I have had no issues using any of the bits or the screwdriver. It has the adjuster for manually turning, or where it only turns in one direction for easier use. It is a good weight and fits in my belt or toolbox drawer. Very handy instead o multiple screwdrivers to carry around.

I selected the Milwaukee 8-in-1 for its small size and the included selection of bits. What I like best about this driver is the compact size. While short the handle is still "stubby" and is easy to keep a firm grip even when turning with a couple fingers. The other feature that I really like is the ratchet action which really comes in handy in tight spots. The ratchet action is very easy to operate and provides 3 positions: right/left/fixed. I love the assortment of bits and how they are stored in an organized way right on the driver, however, I don't like the design of the bit holder. The design allows the bits to only be retrieved at the back of the driver handle. It is difficult to pull the friction secured bit out with just your fingers (see photo). I think Milwaukee could have designed the handle so that the bit can be pushed through; coming through the friction storage allowing it to pop out. This is the only con about this tool.

I've gone through my fair share of ratcheting drivers. Most of them were the jack of all trades, but master of none. They were cheaply made, and didn't last long at all. When I got this driver, it's definitely different than the rest. It's exceptionally well made, feels great in your hand, has some heft to it, and best of all, it's no way cheaply made. I love the slim shape of this driver, making it easier for tight spaces. Overall, this is a first rate driver to own, and highly recommended.

Having a compact, snub-nosed screwdriver is a must for any toolbox. Having a ratcheting, compact, multi-bit snub-nosed driver made by Milwaukee is a whole different level of quality. This driver is exceptionally well made, to last a long time. I've had my share of ratcheting drivers, and they've all broken within a short period of time. Just holding this, and looking it over, it's light years above anything I've bought before. So glad to have and use this. Extremely pleased, and highly recommended.

The Milwaukee 8 in 1 Compact Ratcheting Multi-Bit Driver shipped promptly in a somewhat over-sized well-packed carton. This handy, well constructed, ergonomically designed tool fits nicely in the palm of the hand and contains everything on-board (all 8 bits): 1/4" Nut Driver, #1 and #2 Phillips, 1/4" and 3/16" Slotted, SQ#1 and SQ#2 Square, and a T15 Star bit. I love it and can't wait to use this on my next project--surly there must be something that needs tightened or loosened!

Similar to other Milwaukee products, this drive ratcheting multi-but screwdriver is great quality, extremely sturdy and well made. The tips are held on by magnet and the biggest challenge of changing the heads is getting it out of the handle as they are in there pretty snug. I used the tip that was out to push out the tip I wanted and then was able to more easily get it out of the handle. It is not a light weight product, coming in at about 10 to 11 ounces.

Milwaukee 8-in-1 Compact Ratcheting Multi-Bit Driver is a handy tool. There are times when you need a small screwdriver to get into tight spots, but not have the right one or with the right screw bit end. What Milwaukee has done is combine a small driver with various type bits into a compact ratcheting tool. The tool has a black wheel behind the socket where you can set it to drive, reverse it or lock it like an ordinary screwdriver. It takes a standard hex end in the chuck so will accept other bits in addition to those provided and with my adapter, used my quarter inch sockets, too. So it can be both a screwdriver and a small socket driver end with an adapter. I have something similar in a larger multiple bit screwdriver, used it for years. It doesn't have a ratchet mechanism and keeps the bits stored in a compartment in the handle. Having all the bit ends you'd commonly used stored with the tool is really handy. They don't get separated or lost when you need them. The bits are held by friction in slots in the handle base and are removed from the back in pass-through fashion. They were held tight and I used a needle nose pliers to help remove them for now. It come with a 1/4-inch driver and seven different bits as follows: Phillips #1; Phillips #2; Slotted 1/ 16'', Slotted 3/ 32''; Square Recess #1; Square Recess #2 ; TORX 15. Its compact in size for its expanded capability and takes little room in the toolbox.
