These pliers are an absolute BEAST!! Very good feel with the rubber coated handles and overall weight! The construction is extremely solid!! The pliers offer a very smooth operation with a great sense of precision! The pliers are an excellent size for jobs requiring high leverage along with smaller type jobs. These are such a versatile tool, that I would recommend them to anyone handy at all. I have used these for countless jobs around the house and shop! A++

I think these lineman's pliers are the best. They are well made of tool steel. They are 9 inches long which makes for more leverage for cutting copper wire up to number 6 AWG. Tha handles are coated to insulate, from electrical shock at times when you have to work with live circuits. The jaws are cross scored giving excellent gripping power. They are made by Milwaukee Tools, a great name in tool manufacturing.

Good solid pliers. I normally have Klein tools for my electrical work but these came in at the perfect time when I did a job to replace all the receptacles and switches to a home. Whatever I needed to bend whether it was wire or metal they worked awesome. The teeth on the pliers are great and grab real good to pull. The cutter on it worked great to cut back wire and other things. The handle is nice and the grip is good considering it’s smooth for good leverage. They are made very well and you can definitely squeeze pretty hard if you need to confidently. Milwaukee is doing a good job with the pliers they are releasing and I would definitely recommend them to any contractor. I have a feeling I’ll have these forever.

This set of linemans pliers is exactly the quality you expect from Milwaukee hand tools. They have a very heavy head and can stand up to good heavy work and give the leverage you need. The machining on them is very precise and the action is very smooth. There are no gaps or uneven edges on these when they close. You can see in my picture no light shows through on the bite. The cutting portion lines up dead on and has a precise fit unlike some cheap ones that don’t line up perfect. These are dead on. I already had a pretty good quality set of linemans pliers I’ve had for 20 years. But when I saw these Milwaukee versions of them I could not pass up a chance to give them a try given the quality I’ve come to expect from Milwaukee tools. And none of these disappoint. These are some smooth working pliers with the quality to stand up to hard use. Because of the smooth action all your effort is put into getting the job done and not fighting the tool as well. You simply cannot beat these Milwaukee pliers.

Well made set of cutters. Handles are dipped and provide a good grip. Cutting edges are hardened and stay sharp. We use these on fencing work at our ranch and they do the job. The jaws are machined with a cross hatch pattern that provides a good grip on wire or other objects. The handle design provides for good leverage which minimizes the amount of force needed to cut wire, this is a bonus when your doing it all day long. Also comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Single strand wire doesn't stand a chance. I like how much torque this pliers has, I am amazed how much bigger diameter stock can be cut. In my attached picture, I compare how much wider these pliers open compared to the other guy. One tool for multiple applications is always a bonus. The pliers move very smooth to open and close for one handed use.

Initial viewing: The packaging is clean and informative, highlighting all of the features. It is noted that it is specified to cut #2 and #4 ACSR (Aluminum conductor steel-reinforced cable) Inspection: The 9 in. pliers are well machined, so there isn’t any kind of wobble in the hinge that would result in the sides of the nose becoming misaligned. The ridges in the nose are well defined and hold on to objects quite securely. The handles are ergonomically designed and make for good precise control of the tool while grabbing or cutting, and the rubber provides a good layer of insulation should you grab a live line. Summary: This is a very handy tool for doing electrical work. The ergonomic handle, nose and cutting area make the tool easy to handle and use. The materials used to construct the tool should make it a long-lasting durable addition to any tool box.

    Milwaukee pliers
I almost didn’t buy these because of the reviews from the people that are obviously paid to write a review or so it seems, and because of the review saying the “grips are insulated for working on live circuits” that guy is an idiot they are dipped grips for looks and slight comfort not for lives circuits, it literally has that etched on the side of the pliers. Any way I work on a line crew and they work good. I’ve cut up to number 2 braided aluminum wire, not the easiest but it cut it and I’ve had the pliers for about 6 months now.
