Q:I did use this to cut bolts as a last resort and It got the job done. Cutting 3 bolts wore the blade out. Which blade can I get that would get it done faster than the 18 tpi?

Good handy saw to have!!!
I carry this in my general tool bag and it has come in handy when I am out on small jobs and I didn’t bring my cordess saw or hackzall. You can put any 6” reciprocating saw blade into this jab saw and it will fold nicely for storage

Awesome but.
Just got this product today and think it’s a great item! However it does not fit all Milwaukee saws all blades. I had to file down part of my blad to fit

Folding Jab Saw
I love this saw - I got this so that I could use it on a variety of products. But what I've use it for the most is drywall. I put one of my Milwaukee Wrecker Sawzall blades in and it cuts through drywall like butter. What I like about the folding ability is that I can collapse it and still it in my tool belt or tool bag and blade won't catch on anything. This is more comfortable than my actual drywall saw. I broke this in on drywalling a Master bedroom reno and En Suite addition and Guest Bath Reno.
It's very easy to change blades - you press the button on the side and the blade slides out and you can slide the next one in. The versatility of being able to swap wrecker/drywall blades for metal or anything else is exactly why I chose this saw. It's many hand saws in one; really only limited by the sawzall blades you have.
Seems to be quite durable so far. It does take two hands to open. You press the unlock button and then pull the back of the blade to open it up. It would be cool to have a button to open it and have it spring assisted, but as it is, it is stout and sturdy

Love that you can tuck the blade in, keeps it from being damaged and also protects you from cuts.

Excellent design for a folding jab. Works well with Milwaukee blades, but other brands need a little encouragement to slide into the collar far enough.
I have the earlier version as well that used the exact same collar as the Sawzall. It was a rock solid lockup but couldn't fold. The folding aspect is good for protection and portability.

Great tool. I have multiple saws-all blades and they all fit this. Simple pushbutton intall/removal for blades.
Fits comfortably in my hand, folds easily to protect the blade and fit in my pocket/carpenters apron.
Great for sawing a single bolt or pipe or anytime you don't want/need to get out the 7 pound saw.
Highly recommend.

Hack Saw Blade Alternative
A remarkably useful tool when holding both ends of a hack saw blade won't work. Using this type of blade which is much more rigid, makes some projects so simple.

Great little "pocket saw"
This is a nice little "pocket saw". It comes with a 6" blade that is probably most comparable to a hacksaw blade. The grip is a nice, large size and comfortable to hold in either hand. The blade is long enough, but not so long that it's unwieldy. Good for wood, copper / PVC pipe, rope, plastic or other materials you might need to saw through. Folds up nicely to fit in a tool box or pocket.
The Milwaukee Rasping Jab Saw is the onlyThe Milwaukee Rasping Jab Saw is the only jab saw on the market to integrate rasping holes along the side of the blade to rapidly expand holes or smooth rough edges of sheetrock after a cut has been made. The piercing tip makes this tool is ideal for penetrating drywall and the blade allows users to cut plaster with ease.
