I have the electric model with the 12" blade, but probably the stand is the same. I remember having problems either assembling the stand or attaching the brackets to the saw. Milwaukee provided poor instructions, and no on-line videos helped. I don't recall how I finally figured this out, but maybe photos of the bolt and bracket will help. I have attached two. The top view shows a black plate between the saw base and the bracket; the bolt passes through this plate. The bottom view shows that the bolt passes through a narrow plate on the underside of the bracket. The narrow plate includes a threaded hole which enables it to serve as a nut for the bolt.

Absolute Trash
For the price I would expext a solid well designed stand. The fold out design is good and quick but the extensions are complete trash. They are so flimsy and made of light gauge metal and held on by a little bitty nut. Anything more than a 2x4 will likely bend the stops and when you put in away for storage it rests the flimsy extensions. Dont buy it. You will be dissapointed. And i am dissapointed that there are people giving 5 stars! WHY! Its not remotely deserving. Maybe if all you want to cut is pieces of 12” trim board! Shame!!!!

Loved everything about it, except the turn knobs to release the slide rails. Thought they could have made a lever type. All and all, my DeWalt saw stand has been sitting in back of my garage ever since. Using Milwaukee stand for my everyday stuff now. Much easier to transport around

My husband loved it! We had to watch a Youtube tutorial to figure out how to assemble it, but now that it's up, it's so very helpful as we're remodeling the first floor of our home. Very sturdy.

I received this as a gift from my son for Christmas. I had recently purchased the M18 Miter Saw and wanted this stand to go with. Well first one that arrived had 2 issues, one being the support stands did not fit as the crimping on one of them was too small to go over the support. 2nd issue was it was missing the carry strap that is said to be included. So, I had to return, wait for the refund and have my son reorder. 2nd one arrives today and still no carry strap! But at least the support stands fit. It seems like this stand is built for a different saw besides the M18. The hardware to secure the braces to the saw don't match the saw's hex cut out. The M18 has a bolt housing to secure, but the hardware included with the stand doesn't have any bolts!?!? Instructions are poorly written, there was no instructions on installing the carriage bolts to the support mounts. AND DID I MENTION NO CARRY STRAP!!!!!!!

Seems to be a really good product, well thought out and expertly executed. They did a good job of coping the dewalt stand (industry leader in this field IMHO) just close enough to avoid patent infringement. There are some areas that could use higher quality materials (knobs for adjustments and the material supports) but still an overall solid product. I hope they bring the price point to a more realistic spot for the professional craftsmen (120 -130 seems more on point for what your getting) so it succeeds. Overall happy with the purchase and it goes well with the Milwaukee 7 1/4" battery miter saw I bought to put on it.

I love this Milwaukee folding miter saw stand! This is the first time I have purchased or used a miter saw stand. I used to just place my saw on the floor and deal with the hassle of propping up the end of my lumber. I had no idea how much I would love this stand. I almost didn't purchase it and I am so glad I did. Works great as a saw horse too. You can purchase a strap for it separately, but I had plenty straps laying around the shop from other tool bags so I just hooked some carabiners on to the stand and used on of those. I might still purchase the table accessory part for it, but I might make my own as well seeing as how the channel accommodates a 2x4, I can make something with that. If there was one thing that doesn't seem perfect on this stand it is the extender risers. I have to adjust those often. Seems like they sink lower as they extend further out so as you extend them you have to raise the stop higher to account for bowing. Maybe that's normal, but it seems like they could be more sturdy as they extend. I would definitely purchase this again and recommend to friends. If you're considering it, get it!

(What's this)
I have a Milwaukee compound miter saw and this stand works perfectly with my saw. It assembles quickly and is well made. A bonus is that it has an adjustable foot on the steel legs that allows me to set it up more securely in the backyard, on the driveway or whenever I'm working on an uneven surface but I wish it had 2 adjustable feet. The outriggers extend four plus feet to support the work so I don't have to do something makeshift to support my work. It has a handle underneath for carrying it when you fold it up-very convenient. This is a nice looking and well made saw stand. I've always liked Milwaukee tools and this is no exception.

(What's this)
Well built work stand that sure beats 2 saw horses and a piece of wood. I received this stand for free to write this review. The stand is well build. The main body is aluminum. The legs are made of steel, painted to look like aluminum. The bottom of the legs adjust for uneven surfaces. The stand holds everything in place securely. Assembly is easy. I already had another brand of miter saw. The bolts that came with this stand did not fit. They are 8mm and are about $2 a piece at the hardware store. With 4 longer bolts and 4 washers it works great.
