About This Product
The MILWAUKEE® Flat Boring Bits are the ideal solution for boring holes at any angle in a variety of materials. The premium quality spade drill bit is made of heat-treated high carbon steel. The pilot drill point and cutting edge of the paddle bit are designed to be resharpened, saving time while extending the life of the bit. The 13-Piece flat spade bit set bores clean, fast holes at any angle in wood, plastic, plywood and Formica. The MILWAUKEE® 5-Piece SWITCHBLADE™ Bit Plumber's Kit offers a convenient assortment of the MILWAUKEE® SWITCHBLADE™ Selfeed Bits commonly used on the jobsite. MILWAUKEE® SWITCHBLADE™ Selfeed Bits drill up to 12% faster and deliver up to 2X longer life. Designed for any trade that demands repetitive cutting of large holes in wood, SWITCHBLADE™ bits allow you to remove and replace blades rather than resharpen. You get a new bit with every quick, convenient change of the hardened steelblade, and less downtime on the job. An aggressive feed screw design enables the bit to pull through quickly for faster drilling. Built to last and designed to perform, MILWAUKEE® SWITCHBLADE™ Selfeed bits deliver more holes for the money. The kit includes bits in diameters 1-3/8", 1-1/2", 2-1/8", and 2-9/16". Also included are 4 replacement blades, 4 feed screws, 4 set screws, a 5-1/2" QUIK-LOK™ extension and a hex key, all in an impact resistant carrying case.

Is the extension magnetic
Hey Adrian! No, however this extension will lock the bit in place with our QUIK-LOK technology.
Can these be used in the impact driver?
Hey, there! Yes, the High Speed Wood Spade Bit Set is designed to be used with impacts and drills. - Milwaukee Tool, Social Team
Do they come with a case for storage
Hi Thomas! The High Speed Wood Spade Bit Set does not come with a case. - Milwaukee Tool Social Team
What is the Milwaukee Part number for the Case? Can it be purchased separately?
No part # on the case - just a marking that says A2SS. however, on sale I got the whole thing for $20. Highly reccomend as I would have spent that for the case.
One of the reviews mentioned the end of the bits not being pointed and not having a pointed tip made getting the hole started more difficult. To me, it looks like these have a pointed end. Can anyone confirm if these do or do not have a pointed tip?
It is designed with a drill point and cutting edges can be re-sharpened often for economical hole drilling. - Milwaukee Tool, Social Team
Depends on your definition of a point, but I think you can draw blood with them if you are not careful.
Will this fit inside of a packout box like some other drill bit kits?
Hello there! This case is not designed to be used inside of PACKOUT™. Thank you! - Milwaukee Tool, Social Team
