Large Impact Demolition Gloves

Very comfortable with a great level of protection.

These gloves are the best gloves I have ever owned. I have had a lot of gloves over the years, with most developing holes in them rather quickly. These gloves are bullet proof! I have used these gloves for at least 100 hours of extreme, harsh conditions, and they have not let me down. The biggest problem I have with these gloves is stopping my son from using them! The top protective rubber also saved my hand from a glancing hammer blow.

The Milwaukee Impact Demolition Gloves are great for any work you may be doing. The exterior of the gloves have protective covering on the fingers, knuckles and top of your hand as well as a padded palm that is reinforced with armortex so it is more comfortable and you won't hurt yourself. They are hammer resistant and come with a #2 impact rating. The wrist area has a Velcro closure so they can be tightened to provide a snug fit.

These are an excellent pair of gloves for heavy duty work. They are padded well at the points where you would normally feel impact, like the knuckles and palm. One thing that surprised me a bit is that there is plenty of dexterity in the fingers although there is plenty of protection. I kind of wish these were just pull on instead of having a velcro strap, but it didnt limit my ability or present a problem at all.

The Milwaukee X-Large Impact Demolition Gloves, Adult Unisex, Black are by far the best demolition protection gloves I have worn by far. The leather gloves I have worn in the past helped for cuts and scrapes but they had no padding, the Milwaukee impact gloves have a cushioned palm and heavy duty padding everywhere else and even with all the padding they are still very flexible and easy to wear. These are now my go to gloves for even small jobs!

SUMMARY: A NICE SET OF GLOVES FOR DEMO OR OTHER ROUGH WORK. BACKGROUND: I have a lot of gloves, different materials, for different purposes. Although I use some for demo type work I never bought glove designed for that specific purpose. The chance to review Milwaukee’s Demolition Gloves was too good to pass up. FIT AND FINISH: As my first set of Milwaukee gloves I was impressed with the fit and finish. FEATURES: From the Home Depot page, with my comments as appropriate. • Impact protection, reinforced durability ◦ The gloves have thick plastic pads on the upper surface to help shield against impacts. They are also as thick as any leather gloves I have. • Enhanced TPR for ANSI/ISEA 138 impact rated level 2 ◦ https://www.superiorglove.com/blog/everything-you-need-to-know-about-ansi-isea-138-the-new-impact-standard has more information. Basically they meet a voluntary new standard developed for impact-resistant gloves! ◦ My take, these aren’t steel-toed shoes. If something heavy enough hits you, or you get hit by something hard enough, you can get injured. But they are MUCH better than a pair of bare-backed leather or fabric gloves! • Impact rated - enhanced TPR ◦ Pretty much a repeat of above; p.s. TPR is the acronym for Thermo Plastic Rubber • Reinforced with ARMORTEX ◦ A trademarked name for fiberglass reinforced material. (Like KEVLAR.) • Padded palm ◦ As thick as some of my gloves for impact use (hammer drills, impact drivers.) • Hook and loop closure ◦ Good for keeping the glove on if you are pulling on something really hard. USE: I’ve been wearing these gloves as much as possible for several weeks. They work great for that rough use similar to demolition work. They are comfortable, grip well, and give protection from sharp edges like the rough edges of bricks and pavers. I did notice you have less feel through the fingers, probably from the extra thickness. Also, with the impact pads on the back they are more bulky than regular glove. Don’t plan on getting anything out of a deep pants pocket without a stuggle. SUMMARY: A good pair of gloves for really rough work or jobs subject to impact. PROS: Comfortable. Durable. CONS: Hard to reach into a pocket with them on.

Decent demolition gloves and an improvement over their previous version. Has better padding on top of the hand that helps block the bumping from both impact tool use and regular hand use. Fit is excellent for the large hand size I wear. Long term durability is not yet known but expect them to stand up to most normal working abuse out there. Finger dexterity is pretty good also

These gloves are the best. I’m 5’7” with decent size hands and they fit perfectly. Hubby who is 5’10” and little larger than and they fit a little snug. He uses them for cutting wood. They have this cool rubber top that adds extra protection. I wouldn’t use these gloves for all type of work but most anything around the house and light shop work. Over all great glove.

Excellent impact demolition gloves. I have used impact gloves from a different manufacturer. The Milwaukee gloves cost more than my other gloves, but are well worth it. The gloves are accurately sized as XL. Very comfortable fit. The padding material and the “hinge” design provide protection with little movement restriction…that mean less hand fatigue. The loop tabs at the wrists can be used to hang the gloves for storage, and can be used to pull the gloves on. I used the gloves all day, pulling out shrubbery and moving concrete blocks. Gloves held up and I had no fatigue problems that I might expect from heavy-duty gloves. Really a great product!

Lots of protection with grippy palms make these great for demo work. I have a lifelong habit of wearing leather gauntlet gloves for dirty work. Good protection for palm and fingertips, but no real padding from impacts. These Milwaukee gloves have thick flexible padding over the knuckles, back of the hands, and fingers, too. On the other size of the glove, it's covered in grippy dots that make holding on to pry bars, hammers, etc. easy. They are easy to slip on/off with a Velcro closure. Nice gloves that don't need a break-in period. BTW, I do not have gigantic hands and the XL size fits me well. If you have really big hands, you may want to order the XXL.
