I gave this to my mechanic son for Christmas and he just loves it. Several people, as well as friends, have ask him about the “light” on his hoodie. After he explains how it works, they all wanted to know where it was purchased and how much it cost. You will be getting several new purchases. He can stay warm and still be able to move around getting the cars repaired. Above and beyond expectations!

I bought the jacket as a Christmas present to my husband. At first I was nervous if because I'm not sure if it's the jacket he's been eyeing lately. Turns out it's the right one. Got it on a great price, was on sale. I'm happy he loves it. The only thing is that when I asked him how was it he said the battery last for 6-8 hours only. I'm hitting my head because I haven't bought the extra batteries when it was on sale last time with the jacket scared it would not be the right one. Overall happy with the product.

Great Warm Jacket
This jacket is very well constructed with double stitching on most all seams and triple stitching on all the major stress seams. Every fabric edge has a twill or ribbon finish, this will keep the pockets and other areas from ripping or stretching out of shape. This is a high quality, medium weight sweat shirt material that resists forming pills when washed. The inside liner is an open weave thermal pattern that’s very soft to the touch. The fit and finish on this jacket is top quality and should last for many years. Its finally cool here, 12 F degrees this morning. With the cold and wind here for the next four months this is a great time to test this jacket. The heated area in this jacket runs all the way around the mid section and gets very warm quickly on the high setting. The pockets are not heated but do get warm since they are right over part of the heated area. Since the jacket has three settings high, medium and low there is a setting for all outside temperatures. The M12 button on the left breast is easy to use even with gloved hands. Operation is simple and straight forward. Long press to turn the jacket on, then short presses to change from high to medium to low then long press at anytime to turn the jacket off. This jacket is well suited to wearing as a first layer. This way when the wind comes up you can add a shell over the top to keep the heat next to your skin. I used this when plowing snow away from the doors on my shop; this took about 90 minutes and used less than one quarter of the battery charge. So each battery should last 4 to 6 hours depending on temperature setting selected. The battery pocket is located on the left rear of the jacket. This pocket has a second pocket sewn inside to keep the battery in place. There is also a second pocket sewn into the right hand front pocket to use as storage for a second battery. The only two small issues about this jacket is that it needs a shell over the top when its windy and the battery pocket could have been placed more to the side so it would not interfere when setting in a seat with a wide back. Overall this is a great jacket that should extend your comfort when you're in the cold.

Quality Warm & Soft Outerwear - With Heat
If you need a warm quality made hoodie, the heat is just a bonus. I have been wearing this as a house jacket since the weather turned cold, and when I step outside, I live in Idaho, I just turn on some heat for a little boost. At first, I did not think I would like the sleeves as the cuffs are just so large, but I have gotten used to them and they are very comfortable. While not a true windbreaker, it has a nice ribbed lining that knocks off the chill and retains your body heat. The power pack is a bit large, but can last between six and eight hours, I just wish the position of the battery pocket were somewhere else. When I sit down, especially while getting into the car, the battery catches me every so often and I need to adjust. Just make sure to put the battery into the inner pocket where it has a vertical profile instead of just dropping it into the outer pocket where it will lie in a horizontal position. Again, very well made, and my L.L. Bean jacket is now jealous and feeling ignored. I do wish it had an inner pocket for my iPod. Just a couple notes on the heating, it is only along a band across your chest and upper back. A nice feature, but in Idaho, I would prefer to have my extremities get more heat. Batteries and chargers are compatible with other M12 tools, and best of all, it is machine washable.

Nice Even Without the Heat

And if you have other M12 hand tools, you can interchange the included battery and use charger. And don't forget, it is machine washable.
