Brilliantly useful for the intended purpose, these will rotate and expand using the milwaukee m12 expansion tool. Keep them properly lubricated and these will last. I have included a picture of the 3/4" head to see it in expanded form.

If you buy the Milwaukee M12, 2432-20 Expansion tool only, this expansion head is what you need for 1/2" PRO PEX tubing. It DOES NOT come with the tool as pictured with the Expantion tool & also mentioned in the Q&A on the HD website.
Also, it does not come with grease that you NEED to use it. I could not find it on the HD website, so I will go to a plumbing supply house for it. I gather it's food grade grease, so make sure you get the right grease for this head.
