This is a very good tool it has very high output for its size, although the only 2 things i dislike is that the legs are not long enough to support the big batteries but they will support the 1.0 2.0 and 3.0 it will work fine on the big batteries but if it falls it may crack (see photos). The other thing I don't like is that the rubber will start to peel off after a while.

I manage a small casual restaurant, so I'm basically an on-call plumber whenever one of our drains need unclogging. Bought the M12 Cordless Snake Drain to replace a cheap drain auger w/drill attachment that got kinked very badly and was a pain to use. I've used the Milwaukee for two drains already and it has been easy to use and cleared the clogs with ease. Cordless means quicker setup and no power cords running across the floor that could be a tripping hazard in the kitchen. Battery life is good (did two drains and only went down 1 LED light out of 4 LEDs, had plenty of power to snake more drains). The outer casing that covers the drum protects it from rubbing and slapping against drain pipes and parts of your body. The locking mechanism is easy to use (pull in to lock and pull out to unlock). The cable is a bit thicker which resists kinking and helps it fight through tough clogs. Best feature of this Snake Drain is how easily you can clean the cable and drum. You remove 4 screws and out pops the drum and cable together. Drum has a wide enough opening to pour hot water in to clean out all the drain sediment that could cause rust and corrosion on the cable. Quick, easy, and not too messy. Then you let it dry and spray some lubricant on the cable to prevent it from rusting. Should last awhile if the cable and drum are cleaned and maintained properly. Rather than going through one or two cheaper drain snakes every year in our kitchen, the Milwaukee Snake Drain will definitely lasts us for years.

This work light is small but very bright for it size. The battery usage is pretty good too, it last couple evenings when I used the low light setting at my son Cub Scouts camping last month. The strong magnets are useful to hang anywhere in the garage.

      Awesome Light!
This is a very high quality (and handy) work light, especially if you already own other M12 tools (and therefore have a few batteries and a charger handy. The light iself is very bright, and can be used at three different brightness levels. On high, its plenty of light for most tasks. Recently I used it to add extra light while doing some bandsaw work in my garage. The handiest feature (after the fact that its cordless) is the multitude of mounting/hanging options. The magnets are very stong and have no problem supporting the weight of the light. There is also a keyhole for mounting to a screw (light a picture frame) and a spring loaded clamp. The clamp is very strong and has a rubber coating on both sides to prevent maring the surface its clamped to. Further, the clamp spring was very thought out. Its on a damper so that it doesn't just "snap back" after being released. This ensures that you don't get your digits pinched. Good thinking Milwaukee!!! Lastly, the light blinks a few times to warn you that the battery is almost dead. That is very handy, especially if this light happens to be your primary light source. The warning prevents you from being trapped in a dark room. Again, good thinking Milwaukee!!! If you are willing to pay the premium for a cordless work light, this is definitely a high quality product. Well design, well thought out, and well made. Thumbs up!

This is a Great flood light, small, light weight. I looked at several work lights and this one seemed to be just the right size and I wanted the bright white light without the weight of a larger battery. Great for doing work in the attic, under the house, outside in the dark, anywhere you need light for work or fun. You will find that you will take this light with you on every project. You can hang, clamp, and also has coated strong magnets on the bottom. PLUS Milwaukee lifetime warranty on the LED & three years on the unit.

      Flashlights don't stand a chance
My house was built in the late 40s, and sits on a raised foundation with a crawlspace underneath. Whenever there are plumbing or electrical issues, it's into the crawlspace for me. And since it's dark, i would always take a corded Xenon lamp, and drag that poor thing, one crawl at a time, underneath the entire house. Every now and then the bulb would get loose, and the unit wouldn't turn on. Or the extension cord would get tangled or unplugged. And on top of all of this, was the glass front that i feared would shatter at any moment. It was a total nightmare. And so once again, here's Milwaukee to the rescue! Using their standard line of M12 batteries, they've designed the M12 12-Volt Compact Flood Light. Not only is this unit cordless and portable, but it performs quite well to boot! FEATURES Weighting in at just over 2 pounds (including the M18 battery) this unit is light. The bottom has two strong magnets allowing it to attach securely to metal surfaces. There is an H-shaped bracket that pops out an allows attaching to 2x4s or similarly sized posts. And if those mounting solutions aren't enough, the light is angled up, allowing you to place the light on the ground and easily illuminate your work surface. The lamp has 3 brightness levels, with the maximum being near blindingly bright. The lamp by design also has a wide arc, putting all flashlights that i own to shame. When it comes to crawlspace illumination, there is no comparison! SUMMARY Bright, light, and portable. Excellent for crawlspace & attic illumination. M12 batteries allow this flood light comparability with the rest of the M12 Milwaukee power tool line.

      Nice...Bright...Light LIGHT
Let me start off by saying this light is very bright, works well, and it is very portable. However, you know what they say....the right tool for the right job. I feel that way about lights too. This is one of the many Milwaukee lights I use on a daily basis. Pros- 1) I know this sounds like a small thing, but ......This light comes with 2 buttons ("ON/OFF" button & "MODE" button (200,400,1000 lumens)) I LOVE this because I hate lights with one button that require you to cycle through all the Modes to turn it on and off. For example ..."off ,200 ,400 ,1000 off again" That's a pain. When you turn THIS light off and then back on again it stays at the last used brightness mode. For me, this is a time saver and a battery saver. (SEE PIC BELOW) 2) You can sit this light on it's bottom or side or back which cover many different angles to help get the light headed in the proper direction (SEE PIC BELOW) 3) The bottom of the light includes a clamp foot which allows you to easily clamp it to a stud if you working in an area that has bare framed walls. (SEE PIC BELOW) 4) Milwaukee M12 batteries provide light for an extended period of time. How long? That depends on which battery you are using, but ever the smallest M12 battery will keep it nice and bright for quite a long time. This light includes a battery level indicator on the top next to the "MODE" button. (SEE PIC BELOW) 5) Multi brightness settings - some times you don't need 1000 lumens, so you can use it at a lower setting and save battery life 6) Magnetic bottom for additional hanging options. (SEE PIC BELOW) Cons There is soooo much competition out there in the light space. You have to choose the light that is best for you. Milwaukee makes a few other lights that I like a little better. They have a stick shaped LED light that fits into small areas, like under the sink during faucet installs. They also have an octagon shaped LED light with a handle, that to me seems to be a bit "handier". I like this light, but I haven't found the perfect job for it.....YET!

      surprisingly bright, decent design
This is a surprisingly bright work light. With only 5 led's it's pretty surprising how much light this will cast. It has a very small footprint, and three light settings (low, med, high). It doesn't always balance that well and I found myself having to place it on the ground a lot more carefully than I would want for a light. It does have magnets at the base so you can attach it to steel studs or the side of your truck, but you can't tilt it or focus the light. It also has a nice clamp built into it. It's a bit tough to pull out, but it holds really well. The problem is it only comes out 1.5" so you can't use it to clamp onto a stud and it may struggle clamping onto some ladders. I really love the small size of it but would like more flexiblity out of it. It is very rugged, I knocked it down a flight of stairs onto a concrete floor and it didn't even chip. The battery fell out, but didn't damage the battery or the housing. This is the tool only, you'll need to already have an M12 battery to use it.

      Awesome Addition to M12 Lineup!
Milwaukee has been cranking out the cordless lighting products recently, and I've had a few critiques for most of their new lights, but they hit this M12 flood light out of the park! It's bright, offers good run time, and has a ton of versatile mounting options. I tried, but couldn't come up with a single design decision that I'd change about it. I ran an endurance test using a 2Ah compact battery, and got 103 minutes of run time on the high output setting with 1000 lumen output. If you scale the numbers, that only comes up 4 minutes shy of their claimed run time of 3.5 hours. From what I've seen, Milwaukee is really good about providing accurate run times with their lighting products. There's also a medium and low mode at 400 and 200 lumens respectively. (Just a note - the HD product description is inaccurate on lumen output at the time I posted this review - the specs I listed are written on the product packaging.) The light uses pulse width modulation as the dimming mechanism, so you will see a flicker in recorded video, but it won't appear to be flickering in person. The mounting options are excellent, and Milwaukee really planned them out well. There's a carry handle that angles the light downward at a 45° angle to light up a path in front if you're walking with it. The carry handle has a groove in the middle for hanging the light from a wire/twine/rope too. There's also really strong magnets to adhere to any ferrous metal surface, and a strong spring clamp that extends out 1.5" to grab on to any 2X dimensional lumber. To test it out, I took it up to my attic and clamped it on one of the rafters. It easily lit up half the attic space of my 3Bed/2Bath home. It's IP54 rated, so dusty attics won't be a problem for it, and it can be exposed to rain without any damage. I think this is going to be my go-to light for small projects from now on - it's just so easy to grab and go. Plus unless I'm doing a super demanding task, my M12 lineup is normally the first thing I grab anyway. So if you've got any M12 batteries, put this on your short list - it's definitely worth the money!
