Great tool! Check it out
Great little hammer drill, not as strong as it’s m18 version but for it size, it packs! Battery on this (came with a 4.0) lasts a very good amount of time. This drill is great for any homeowner and or contractor, I work in general construction and it’s does the job well!

Nice compact drill that can get into small spaces. This tool is the drill but not the hammer drill. It takes 1/2" bits and smaller. The best part is that it delivers power in small spaces which makes it my go-to drill for most small projects. If you need the hammer drill setting, then you have to get the hammer-drill model. Both are lightweight and compact. There are two speed selections. This doesn't come with a charger or battery, but if you already have a charger from a Milwaukee kit, it will work for this M-12 fuel. It comes with a 5-year limited warranty. You can't go wrong with this go-to drill in your toolbox.

There is much to like about this drill. It feels super solid and fits well in my hand. I really like the all metal chuck, and especially the fact that it opens to 1/2 an inch. I have a couple other drills that don't, and it is a real pain. This drill is slightly shorter and slightly lighter than its predecessor, but has 75 pounds more torque. You can really feel it in your hand. It powers through most fasteners, but I did notice it struggled a little big with #9 3" construction screws. Had to switch to the 18v to get them all the way in. It also goes through a battery pretty quick if you are using big drill bits or driving long screws.

Great drill with incredible power in such a small package. This is a tool only purchase, it does not come with a battery, or any attachments or accessories. Only get this if you already have some M12 tools and extra batteries. That being said, I'm pretty impressed with this little guy. It completely outperforms my 8 year old 18v drill and is easily 1/2 the size. It's a bit heavier than I expected, but not so heavy that it will create any strain or stress over long periods of time. The chuck is easy to work, the tool is very comfortable, and the controls are all easily accessed. The one odd thing about this drill is that there's a slight delay in the drill getting up to speed that I haven't seen in previous drills. It has an adjustable control, however when you fully pull the trigger from a cold stop there's about a 1/2 second delay before the motor is at full speed. This is probably a good thing so that it doesn't unseat the bit from a screwhead, but I still found it odd and will need to get used to it. Otherwise I couldn't find anything to dislike about this guy and am happy to have it in my bag.

•All my cordless tools are now Milwaukee M12’s. 8 Years ago I made the decision after buying their cordless screwdriver (model 2401) to gradually switch everything over as I replaced tools. The #2503 ½” Drill/Driver is my latest addition. This newest model Milwaukee Brushless tool fits perfect in my hand, well balanced, comfortable and plenty of torque. It’s actually about an inch shorter than the previous model to help you squeeze into those tight spaces, and the LED light seems brighter. I like the way the chuck locks the drill bit tight & quickly just by holding the drill bit in the chuck and squeezing the trigger with your other hand and a final slight quick twist on the chuck and you are tight and ready to go! (I have never had a spinning drill bit in any of my other M12 drill chucks!) They also make a powerful 18V series, but I have never needed more power than the M12 series delivers. I have some arthritis in my right hand and right wrist and I really appreciate the super compact size and lighter weight of the M12 tools when I need to do a lot of drilling/driving in my shop or around the house. The price is very affordable and the quality is top notch. The 2503-20 comes without batteries. If you already have any M12 tools this works with both types of M12 batteries or you can buy the drill kit combo that includes two batteries and charger.

I'm totally sold! These M12 tools are amazing. The torque is unbelievable. The precision is real. The drill/driver feels like a $500 tool. The fuel gauge is very convenient. I wish that was a feature on all of my battery-operated tools. The ratcheting clutch is very easy to use and to understand. I especially like the 1/2 switch on top of the drill. Position 1 is for low speed and high torque whereas position 2 is for Higher speed and lower torque. The compact size lets you get into places that larger drill/drivers cannot. But don't let the compact size fool you. This is one case where smaller is definitely better!!!

Powerful, but compact! The drill/driver does not include a battery, but will use any Milwaukee M12 battery. I chose the smaller M12 2.0 for this evaluation. Using the smaller battery keeps the total tool weight at 2 lbs. 11 oz. This was important to me as I wanted a light weight drill/driver to carry up and down ladders. It’s also about 1 inch smaller in length and width and 1 pound lighter than Milwaukee’s M18 drill/driver. See Photos and video. Even though it is compact in size it is full of features: it has a ½” keyless chuck that works well, a clutch to set torque, a switch to select 2 speed ranges, a variable speed trigger, an LED work light, and a battery life indicator. As you can see in the video I drilled several holes in a 2”x 4”. I drilled 3, 5/8” holes and 2, 1 & 1/8” holes using spade bits. The spade bits require quite a bit of torque to drill holes, but this drill was more than up to it. In addition I also drove 4, 2” wood screws into the 2”x 4”. There was still half the battery’s life left when I was finished. I considered this an excellent result while using the smaller battery.

Great lightweight drill
Lightweight due to m12 battery system. Ideal for general use not for heavy duty drilling. For longer hours and make drill stand on its own use 4am battery. Great convenient tool for household.
