I have had mine for three years and used them for hobbies and such. I keep all my batteries on charge all the time and it has not affected them at all. It charges back to full and moves on to the next battery. Great charger.

I left mine plugged in for well over a year without any experiencing any problems from my batteries. Sometimes I used them regularly and other times it would be weeks before doing so again. Each battery functioned perfectly. So I hope this helps you Jim.

Junk batteries don’t lock into it
All right so I bought this with the intention of mounting it to the wall in my trailer to keep all my batteries neat and organized it’s even got wall mount spots on it but it doesn’t do any good when you’re mounting it in a trailer and all the batteries vibrate loose and fall on the floor and brake and crack open. Not to mention these new 9 AMp hour high output batteries last about five. I have a similar charger by Ryobi and it even has a USB port on it and they clip in the place and don’t fall out. I have $1,000s of dollars in Milwaukee tools slowly Phasing them out

It only charge one battery at the time. You have to wait for one to get charge and it will move to the next battery. It's going to be better if all of them charge at once

People are complaining about it only able to charge one battery at a time, but Hilti’s four battery bay charging station does the exact same thing. I don’t want the rapid charge, because I want my batteries to last. This solution gives me the opportunity to charge all my batteries when I get off work and not have to worry about switching batteries when they’re fully charged. I have three 9.0’s and two 5.0’s and this is a must have. I was hesitant to pull the trigger, but I’m really happy that I did, because it’s my life that much easier without having to micromanaging batteries lol

Overall I am happy with the product, but my unit does not charge CP 1.5 smaller size batteries. I am not sure if it’s specified in the manual or not, but I would think it would be nice if the charging unit was universal for all M 18 batteries sizes. It charges larger ones with no issues. Since I have multiple batteries, it is not a problem, but I guess for someone with just a few it can be an issue.
