Really nice drill/driver
I have the older ver. of this Milwaukee M18 1/2" drill/driver, & it’s a real workhorse, but I needed a 2nd one for my work. I decided to get this one because it's a little smaller than the 1st one & it can get into tighter spaces. This drill is also much more powerful, so when I'm drilling into 60-150 year old studs & joists this drill can handle that tough wood. Milwaukee is doing a fabulous job of making tools designed for specific jobs & trades and all of them seem to be home runs like this tool! If you're not familiar with the M18 batteries, they have a built in battery level meter right on the battery which is very handy, just push the button and the LED lights show you how much power you have left. I should mention that the full power is there right down to the last LED and does not fade as the old style batteries used to. I also love the LED light to help see things in dark areas. The drill feels very comfortable in your hand & is well ballanced. I only wish that Milwaukee would find a better place for the forward/reverse sliding button, I have large hands & many times while working I'll hit the slide and either nothing happens or it goes in reverse. Overall this is a great kit to have in your tool box

Smaller, but more powerful than my older Milwaukee M18 drills (not as powerful as the Fuel drills). It handles a 1-1/2" spade bit with ease. I can't vouch for the longevity yet, but it feels rock solid. Should handle a considerable drop. My old drills still work great after years of frequent use (almost daily, a few times a day), I had to replace brushes, but the drills didn't fail. My main usage are the impacts, which I have worn out and they exceeded my expectations for how long the lasted. I needed another charger and this kit was on sale so I opted for it to get another battery, drill, and bag for not much more than a charger costs by itself. I expected to only use this drill around the house, but it's compact size will be great for tight spots at work. I'm a long time Milwaukee user.

Most Milwaukee tools are great.
I have and have had many Milwaukee tools over the years. I even have a Milwaukee shop radio. They have all been good. This drill is the exception. After about a year of occasional home use the switch messed up and the work light would stay on. Drill still worked but had to remove battery to prevent full discharge. Warranty denied by service center. Then a number of months later the drill just locked up. Milwaukee sure missed with this one. Replaced with a new brushless model. Hopefully this one lasts like their older models. If not I'm Done with Milwaukee.

This driver drill is another quality product from Milwaukee Tools. Compact in size and packs terrific power as needed. The M18 volt 3Ah battery provides long usage between recharging. It's a very nice kit with this size battery, rapid charger, and a quality storage bag. I really like the whole package and super value from Home Depot. Plus the tool and battery have the best warranty on the market.

Great Drill Does Precisely What I Wanted
I really like this drill. It seems very powerful. My only reference is a 20 yo DeWalt 9.6v. I need to get bigger batteries but for now the 1.5 AH versions are fine. I use it pump water out of my dryer vent. I plan to add other items to the “ecosystem” with a small blower and vacuum. Definitely recommended.

A robust little drill motor that uses the M18 battery that I already have. Since there is no difference between the M18 and M20 batteries other than case style and I already had M18 batteries for the 1/4 inch impact driver that I already own I went with this drill motor. It has plenty of torque with two gearing ranges and handles any small drilling tasks that I require. The tool with the M18 battery is well balanced and is easy to hold. The chuck has plenty of gripping power even on 1/16 inch bits. I will probably have to use a secondary pin chuck for drills smaller than 1/16 but that is to be expected.
