This drill is the best bet for drilling and driving out there, simply put this will get the job done. First of all I love the look of this thing, its lightweight, and its powerful. It's so light that I can carry it on my belt without it being a problem like older drills that I've had and its so small that it can get into tight spaces without a problem and without sacrificing any power. The clutch on this is amazing it can drill fasteners into wood and cut holes in metal without a problem. I've even had to use it on the jobsite as a hammer drill when our company one went out and it can drill holes in concrete and brick without any issue. The handle for it comes in extremely handy when using it on sheet metal or on tough materials and has definitely saved my wrists more than once. Ergonomics on this drill are amazing and fit my hands perfectly. The only thing I can say that I don't like about it is where the light is placed, the light is very bright but I don't like how the put it on the bottom of the drill and not above the trigger but that is just my opinion and isn't a huge deal. All around this drill is amazing for everyone from a seasoned professional or a DIYer.

Cant handle 6-1/2in hole saw, will return it to home depot they better take it back

The best tool I own, couldn't be more impressed with the build quality of this excellent product. I've had this tool for a couple of months and have used it to sink tapcons in concrete blocks and then quickly switch to delicate jobs without missing a beat. Spend the money on this, save elsewhere.

Killer power - almost puts my m18 Hole Hawg, which I love dearly, to shame! As a residential electrical contractor, boring holes in framing is a big part of my daily routine. I recently moved-up to this gen-3 model from the gen-2 that I had been rockin' since it came out, and am blown away by it's capabilities. Absolutely loves running my 18" ship augers through framing. So much so, that I often grab it over my m18 Hawg. Will absolutely scream a 3" self-feed bit through 2x framing - like a 3-second hole - something the Hole Hawg will not do at all, going out on overload. Love the updated chuck. Have not had it lock up on any of my bits - like the prior version is so prone to doing - in the 3 or 4 months I've been running it. I have had it self-loosen while running a large-diameter TCT hole saw a time or 2 - but I reckon that will happen occasionally with any keyless chuck, due to the high centrifugal force created by such a large bit. In summation - a definite upgrade from even the gen-2 model, and if you're coming from an even older drill, you will be totally blown away!

This drill has the same specs as gen 2 but in a smaller package 1,200 lbs in, 2,000 rpm, 32,000 bpm. The smaller size is the plus for me especially tight spaces . the adjustable ring is gone so you just twist hammer and drill mode. The adjustable clutch is for screw mode. Tried using this for hole saw and it performed as expected. Tried the hammer drill mode drilling for tapcons and the power is more than enough. If you have the Gen 2 stick with it coz of same specs but if yoy want a more compact drill with the same power this is it.

Having the old Milwaukee 10 ton model for the last couple of years, I was delighted to try out their latest 6T M18 force logic 6T knockout tool quick connect alignment and I am not disappointed. The tool is40 percent lighter and more compact than the older model and the cross hairs on the punch and die make for a very accurate cut. The tool itself is rugged and made with true precision. With only 3 pieces to connect, it makes for a faster and safe procedure. Each cutter and die has been clearly marked with large numbers which indicate the size. So far I have only used the 2 inch and 4 inch thirty five times cutting through ¾ inch mild steel cabinets. plus the 2 inch for a couple of piece of stainless steel, but in every case, the cut is flawless with no sharp edges to deal with. After the 35 knockouts, the cutter is as good as new with no sign of any stress. A slow steady pressure is only necessary to successfully cut through. Because the tool has been redesigned there are no requirements to hold the tool when setting up the punch and dies as the tool connects onto the cutter and once positioned, give a quick twist and you’re ready to operate using the trigger and the cut out piece stays in the cutter and is easily removed. The hard carry cases are the perfect addition to this kit. It comes with a charger and one M18 2.0 battery. Photos show me testing the tools performance on 1 !/4 inch scrap steel So is it worth the cost? Absolutely As with all Milwaukee tools, it has a 5 Year Tool & 2 Year Battery Warranty.
