Without any bit in the chuck and the chuck completely closed it is 4". When using a bit, the chuck teeth are receded and the actual length is 3-3/4" plus the length of the bit.

No is it Fuel model . It works good But the only problem is when you load the drill bit and holes to tie it it bites your hand sometimes if you have big hands .

I haven’t used that big of a hole saw in my Milwaukee right angle drill, but I don’t think you would have a problem with it if you took it easy & don’t force it too much. Milwaukee makes great cordless tools, in my opinion.
