which size battery is the best to use for this reciprocating saw

Any M18 battery will work on this recip saw. It all depends on the duration of use and the total weight of the saw. The recip saw is a little heavy without a battery. Adding a larger battery does give a counterweight that require you to put more force on the front end of the saw to cut. So depending on the job, I find for general use, a 5.0 battery works well. Hope this helps.

I had the same question. The part is an adapter for a dust bag. There is one and only one threaded hole available on the saw, so if you see the hole then you have solved the problem of where to mount the part.

Does this saw come with a blade wrench or fence guide ?

Mine didn't come with a wrench, I used my own. And the fence guides I have used before don't work well. It didn't have that either. When I need a fence guide I clamp a steel scale to the work and run my saw along that.

Why do the reviews for the M18 Rover 18-Volt led flood light have saw and grinder reviews inter mixed in them? Is this how Biden won the election?

It's a great light, I'm a home inspector and this light goes in every attic and crawl space with me. I think the other product reviews mixed in were actually flipped by the Dominion review company

Bright and useful light
I’ve been using this useful M18 LED lamp for a bit. There are 2 brightness settings, up to 1,500 lumens. It has a hexagonal shape so you can angle it up or down. There’s a hole going through it so you can put it on top of a 3/4” dowel and rig a stand. The carry handle is comfy. I’ve put a 5Ah and 8Ah in it. I suppose it could use magnets and a rafter hook to have additional mounting points, but for most uses its perfectly adequate.

Disappointed
I did a rush purchase with this saw, arrived at my jobsite and opened to find out there was no rip saw !!! I had no time to return it. Very disappointed. Overall, it did its job. Do better milwaukee.

Overall great saw, nitpicky issues
Overall, this is a solid saw. The 6.5" will cut largely anything you need to cut for smaller projects, and allows for a smaller, lighter form factor. 1 minor annoyance is that I found that the screw used to tighten the rip fence guide is poorly designed. While using the rip fence, I hand tightened it to a normal tightness, but when I went to loosen it to remove the fence, the plastic handle began to just spin on the screw. I ultimately needed to pull the plastic handle off, and use pliers to remove it. For a $120 saw, and Milwaukee at that, I would have expected better hardware choices that would last longer.

Garbage
Battery falls out every time you drill down. Battery comes disconnected every 1-3 minutes. Not only is this incredibly frustrating, but it's down right embarrassing. I feel foolish for purchasing these with my hard earned money.
