bare tool means no battery or battery charger. So you get the extensions crevice tools etc, it just wont work without you buying a battery and charger separately. Bare tools are sold so that someone who already has a whole collection of Milwaukee tools doest end up with a inordinate amount of batteries and chargers.

I use mine in the house, (similar to using the Dyson Stick) for quick clean ups and cleaning the stairs. Best part, when the battery gets low install another one...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just stopped working properly I’bought this aaround the holidays and initially worked really well, little heavier and awkward that I would have liked but nevertheless it did the job and was satisfied with it, all of a sudden though it stopped running continuously, it will run for about 10 to 15 seconds then starts dying out then it just stops 20 - 30 seconds later it will start up again run for about another 15 seconds and again just stop, tried different batteries, cleaned the filter etc but to no avail, really disappointed because actually was serving its purpose in my garage nicely but less than five months using it and now won’t fully function.

I was cleaning the sawdust out of the inside of a table saw and the dust bin filled up very quickly, but it was easy to dump and pull out the filter and knock dust out of it. It is kinda front heavy, but if you rest the nozzle on the surface it helps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I think this tool servers a purpose for some, but not all. For my purpose, it servers as somethin... I think this tool servers a purpose for some, but not all. For my purpose, it servers as something cordless to vacuum in the garage and shed such as dirt, grass clippings, cobwebs, etc. I have only had it a few days and it's been ok. Suction is decent and I like the floor tool since it seems to pick up pretty good, especially on some carpet squares I have in the garage. Love that's it's battery operated, as I have many M18 batteries. I've only used a 9.0 battery on it. Speaking of the 9.0 battery, It's pretty heavy with that battery if you are using it to vac cobwebs in the corner up high. Almost need two hands to handle it. I was thinking about a Dyson for how easy they are to handle in our home for this reason. Wish it had a washable filter too, since I think this will get clogged up real quick for the type of people it targets and loose suction. As of now, I can't find a replacement filter for this unit. Will inquire with Milwaukee on that. Maybe it's so new, it's not out yet. Wish mounting hardware was included or available.

This is a powerful little vacuum with a variety of attachments that make it quite versatile. 2. A great deal considering the entire package was only slightly more than the cost of 1 5.0Ah battery if you were to buy it seperate. 3. Solid construction with removable pleated air filter. Negatives: 1. It's pretty bulky, it's fine for me but my wife wants something smaller and lighter. 2. The air flow out the top of the vacuum can be annoying as it blows in all directions. I wish they would have made it so the air flow is directed to the rear of the vaccum so it won't potentially blow stuff around that you are trying to vacuum. This is the main reason for this getting a 4 star in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use it daily I don’t leave reviews too often unless I’m disappointed or extremely happy. I got this as a freebie (promotion through Home Depot) last year during the holidays. By far the most used “tool” of my set. We use this almost every single day and it never fails to impress. I highly recommend it. Besides cleaning up messes from projects, we use it for the vehicles, window screens, thresholds, the stairs, and just about any hard-to-reach place you can think of. The wife likes it for spiders and other bugs that find their way into the house.
