M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw with Sawzall Blade Set (18-Piece)

Bought this for a friend but I got to use it first to cut off and extend a shelf bracket. It is well made and powerful like the other M18 tools are.

Works fine, it doesn’t have the Power the Milwaukee Fuel tool does. I should have purchased one with a case and charger.

This M18 Reciprocating saw model 2621-20 is really nice to use and very reasonably priced. I tried it with both with a 12" Diablo pruning blade with 3 TPI and a Lenox 12" 6 TPI nail embedded wood power blast blade. It worked great with both, for cutting a PT 4x4 like butter, cedar 2x4's, tree limbs and for cutting up oak shipping pallets. The tool feels comfortable in hand, with plenty of power and it's SO nice not having to drag around 100's of feet of extension cords to get jobs done! (and then having to wrap it up afterwards too!, what a pain!) I have two of the XC batteries, and so far have not run out of power before completing my projects. If you'll be using it professionally, you might want to rotate 3 batteries. A few things that you might find helpful. 1. The blade can be loaded either teeth facing up or down, which is nice for getting in tight areas. You can even plunge cut either way into wood. 2. The loading of the blade couldn't be easier: a. take the battery out b. move the spring loaded lever up and insert the blade c. just release the lever to lock it in d. replace the battery. It literally takes 10 seconds! No tools needed, or to get lost,YES! 3. There is less vibration and a lot less noise than my older 120V plug in Dewalt 4. It has an electronic brake that stops the saw in less than 2 seconds. 5. The directions are in English, Spanish & French 6. With the Diablo pruning blade (available at HD Model # DS1203CP Internet #301697673 Store SKU #1002558203), you might want to leave your chain saw in the shed...really! For trimming limbs to cutting down saplings or sumac, to cutting firewood into smaller pieces nothing beats this combo. And, nice clean cuts with almost no sawdust to clean up after either! 7. There is a trigger lock, which is nice when you're carrying the tool around, no accidental starts. 8. It does NOT come with a blade, battery or charger. 9. It has a nice variable speed trigger, with good control. 10. With an XC battery & 12" blade it weighs 8.8 lb. 11. Battery size doesn't effect performance at all, just the length of run time. So if you have a short use job don't be afraid to use a small battery and loose the weight. In conclusion, after decades of using a corded recip saw, this is just absolutely fantastic! A dream come true! No more climbing ladders with heavy duty 12 gauge extension cords that get caught on everything, or going into crawl spaces and getting the extension cord caught on a corner, or fumbling in low light trying to change a blade. You get the idea...There are even new blades available for scraping and wire brushing for rust removal, You're going to love this saw and find many different uses for it! Hope this helps you!

This thing is a beast, even if it doesn’t have all the extra features. I cut through 30 pieces of unistrut with no problems and with little fatigue for myself and the machine. I’ve had this SawZall on two jobsites now and it has been a life saver. I’m also considering getting a bandsaw later down the road, but I feel this has more practicality.

This Milwaukee sawzall is a good quality tool. It handles tough jobs with ease. I like the Quick loc blade clamp. It makes installing and removing the blade easy. Battery pack - not included- should always be removed for safety sake before blade changing. There is a trigger lock on the side of the handle. There is also an electric brake. You can also make plunge cuts with this sawzall.

This is a great Sawzall!! Pretty basic tool. I really love the rubber grip on the front of the saw. This makes cutting & prolonged use more comfortable. Very easy to change blades!!! Good balance in your hands while you are cutting. Nice to have a saw like this without a cord hanging off the back. This package only comes with tool. It would be nice if a case was included!!! I would definitely recommend!!!

I bought one of the older versions first but realized they had this one at another store. Its faster, better looking, and has less vibration than the older 2620-20 model. Despite the 200 less spm this new 2621-20 has it still cuts faster due to the longer stroke and more inline cutting motion. love it. best on the market for a brushed sawzall!!

I only buy Milwaukee power tools. That should let you know how I feel about their quality.
