The M18 Cordless 2-Speed 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver Kit offers incredible performance and power-to-size ratio. Featuring a Milwaukee-built 4-pole frameless motor and optimized impact mechanism, this impact driver delivers up to 2750 RPM, 3450 IPM and 1500 in. lbs. of fastening torque for class-leading performance. Its unique design offers multiple speed/torque modes through proprietary 2-mode drive control and also features REDLINK Intelligence, providing overload protection using total system communication between the tool, battery and charger. For convenience, an all-metal, reversible belt clip is also included for temporary tool storage.

        A:  In my experience over the last 10 years. Brushless not only wear out quicker, but also seem to lose power quicker than regular drills. I use mine every day on multiple jobs...I'll keep my 2 speed drill with brushs

          A:  This unit uses the 1/4" hex bits that are standard to pretty much all impact drivers. Available on the site here and at your local HD, as well as anywhere that sells tools.

            Great purchase with a super price.
            I just love the Milwaukee M18 products as the batteries charge up quickly and they are all interchangeable between tools. The quality of the tool out does all its competitors in my opinion. I use it almost every day in my workshop restoring Pinball games. The variable speed allows me to easily remove all the small screws and nuts that hold all the small parts to the playfield of the game. I plan to purchase other Milwaukee M18 tools in the future.

            BETTER THAN RATINGS!
            I read the reviews last year about the batteries not holding power for long. The majority of the ratings were positive though. I purchased several tools and batteries from Milwaukee. This drill is a great tool. The power, torque, and battery life has been excellent! I am very pleased and have realized the value of "You get what you pay for". Cheap tools are just that. These drills and more money and they hold up to a lot of demand in my business (Home Improvement). I recently built a rustic end table for my son. He loves it! The Milwaukee tools made it a breeze!

            lightweight, powerful, compact impact driver
            Set comes with 1/4 driver, two 18V lithium-ion batteries, and charger. Light and compact, with plenty of power. Fits into tight spots. Driver takes standard 1/4" bits. Two speeds, led lighted, batteries have charge indicators, charge quickly and have good lasting power. Batteries fit most 18V Milwaukee tools. Drives 3" screws easily, drives lags easily also. Very nice case. Well constructed and looks and feels quality made.

            Quality tool at a decent price. Plenty of power and torque to get the job done. Pretty small profile too. I was able to use it in a pretty tight location. Worked like a charm.
