Great tool!
Great tool, very easy to use. Can achieve a lot with this. my only issue was using the 1.5v batteries with it, they drain pretty fast. Besides that, good product so far!

Swing and a miss from Milwaukee
I expected much more from this sander, but it was a big let down.
I've used a *yellow* orbital sander for 10 years with great results. It's a total beast and I finally wore the brushes out. While waiting for the replacements to arrive in the mail, I took a chance on this cordless version. I have a half a dozen cordless Milwaukee tools that I've been extremely happy with, so I took this as an opportunity to take another step up in quality and convenience.
Right away I liked the design but found the rotation was sorely lacking. I'm talking less than half as efficient as I'm used to, the amount of sanding needed to eliminate the dreaded squiggle marks is simply not acceptable. On top of that, I drained a full battery in about 15 of normal use, not overworking the tool at all. The dust collection was not very effective, leaving much more residual dust in the area than I'd get from the yellow competitor.
I don't often feel compelled to write reviews, but in this case I had no choice but share my experience. Sadly a thumbs down.

Super sander

This is a must have tool!!
This tool works amazing! Purchased it a month ago and have been using it daily for making walnut charcuterie boards and coffee tables. Does the job perfectly.

Dust Collection
Milwaukee, help! I love your tools, I have many. This orbital sander, as stated by others is faulty. The dust collection system will not stay closed. It's so frustrating to buy a Milwaukee product that doesn't work as advertised. Seems like a major oversight and such a mess

Wonderful sander
Great tool. Very powerful, and easy to handle. You can easily connect it to your shop vacuum, which is a great option and helps keep your workplace clean. M18 5Ah battery allows you to run your tool on highest setting for about an hour. Felt like M18 5Ah battery worked best, and also gave the tool the right balance, making it easier to handle. Very good tool. Im highly satisfied.
