So far, so great! At this point, I've used all the tools except for the orbital tool and the single-hand Sawzall. I bought this 10-tool kit because it was offered at a deep discount ($599) and included the 1/2" Impact wrench, which I've been wanting for a long time to aid me with regular automotive maintenance (removing lugs for brake jobs, suspension parts, tire rotations, etc.). It was time to upgrade to Lithium batteries as well, as my trusty Craftsman NiCad 19.2 drill/driver/impact kit is not holding a charge like it used to, so I treated myself to a quality kit that I know will last this homeowner and DIY-er a long time.
A couple of the surprises I found were 1.) the saw cut through my plywood boards like butter with the included framing blade - thoroughly impressed. Also, having the freedom of the cordless angle grinder was nice to be able to sharpen my lawnmower blades quickly and easily. They also say size matters - and it does! I like the fact that many of the tools in the kit are smaller & lighter with the better 18v performance. Even with the 3Ah battery, the impact driver is easy to hold and operate for extended periods.

I haven't had a chance to use all the tools in this kit yet, but so far I've used the Drill, Impact Driver, 1/2 inch Impact Wrench, and the Shop Blower. I'm not a contractor and didn't purchase these for work, Just for around the house small projects and working on the Jeep. I installed some shelving in the garage, along with installing some skidplates on the Jeep, and use the shop blower to clear off the patio/entry and driveway. The standard charger is fine for me, and I did purchase an additional 5 amp hour battery for the larger power use tools such as the grinder and circular saw. These are Milwaukee's older generation of tools and are not the brushless motor versions. For my use I'm fine with that especially for the price.

Don't get me wrong it's a great value for the money and Milwaukee stands behind their product. They also make a great product so it was a no-brainer to buy Milwaukee. But I also have some rigid 18 volt 5 X Series tools and honestly I would say that my Ridgid is a better quality tough rebuild tool than the Milwaukee. They also offer lifetime warranty once you register their product, no other company does that but Ridgid.
