M18 FUEL 12 in. 18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Battery Top Handle Chainsaw (Tool Only)

Bought this battery chainsaw to have around the house/farm to try out and absolutely love it. I use it all the time and it does everything I need it to do. Only tested on dead trees and soft wood like Maple and Pine, but it cuts great, and I'm surprised how long the 8.0 battery lasts with it. Would definitely recommend

I like this better than most of the chainsaws that I've owned. A huge branch off of an old elm tree fell across our power and onto our house. My trusty Stihl needed some work. I went and got this after our power was back on. This isn't as expensive as a quality Stihl and gives some diversity if you mess up and leave old gas in your saw. Short story long, this saw made pretty short work of a huge branch. It cut like a hot knife through butter. I'm glad I got it and I'd do it again!

It works, it goes through about 2 6ah high output batteries to chop a 8 inch elm tree into firewood and cut the branches into small pieces, it's not a problem for me as I have many batteries. I was able to spike up a small 8-10 inch hickory with a moderate canopy and drop all the branches on one charge, it's fairly light with a 6ah and it's nice not having to pull start in a tree, it's also quite enough I don't need ear protection which helps with situational awareness and communication with the rest of your crew. It doesn't replace a gas saw but is a hood compliment to my arsenal.

Amazing performance from a battery powered chain saw. I didn't expect this battery powered chain saw to do the same job as my gas powered one but it definitely surprised me. Not only was it comparable power but time the battery lasted was incredible. You are provided 2 battery packs so even if the first one is depleted you have a backup to keep you going while the first one is charging. I was able to cut down a 60-foot tree, trim the branches and cut it into sections all on one battery charge. The added benefit is the quietness and no fumes to breath from the motor. Love this chain saw and will be using it for years to come.

The reviews cant be legitimate this saw lasted 15 minutes max with a 10AH battery on a 10” tree branch then I added another 10AH battery 10/15 minutes it died total junk i will return this $370 piece of junk

After clearing most of the large trees on my property, the days of a large gas chainsaw are done. I wanted something small, simple, non gas that was grab and go ready for some trimming here and there and for the occasional storm clean up. This chain saw kit comes with everything you need and the chain is setup and ready to go right out of the box. The only thing you will need to purchase seperatley that's not included is chain oil. Once your battery is fully charged, it's just a matter of dropping in the battery in, hitting the trigger lock and pulling the trigger. The variable speed trigger is responsive with a good amount of speed range for precision control. The chainsaw features metallic bumper spikes which is awesome, as other chainsaws I was looking at, only had plastic ones. As far as handling the unit goes, I found it extremely comfortable. For it's size it's surprisingly lightweight and hand/grip placement feels proper. The saw cut through the thick branches I have like a hot knife through butter and ejected clean shavings. The one thing I've always loved about milwuakee is the clear and detailed instructions, even if you're new to operating chainsaws. The instructions breaks down all the components on the unit, guides you through proper maintenance as well as safe and proper use techniques. As I said earlier, this is a great tool to have on hand for those quick yearly trimmings and the occasional larger project. Overall very pleased with the quality, function and ease of this chain saw. Highly recommend it.

This Milwaukee M18 14" top handle chainsaw kit is absolutely the best that I have ever owned! I was impressed with how it has me actually looking forward to working with a chainsaw! This kit includes the rapid charger, and XC8.0 Redlithium High Output battery, an onboard scrench, a hard plastic locking scabbard, and instructions for the tool and the battery charger. I appreciate that the chain and bar was already installed on the saw for me. All you need to provide is the bar and chain oil. This 18V cordless saw outperforms the corded and the 56V ones that I have. I like that the trigger controls a variable speed and there is not excessive noise or fumes while cutting. I appreciate the chain break that will stop the saw if kickback occurs and it takes a second to be safe and lock the tool with it when not in use. I find that the top handle is very comfortable for me and I can get my work done easily and quickly. This chainsaw is not too heavy - the weight of the tool alone is 8.4 lbs. and the weight with an XC8.0 battery and oil is 11 lbs. The rapid battery charger quickly charges all M12 or M18 batteries and has LED status lights. The battery has an LED fuel gauge that shows charging status. I was able to trim some bushes in the fields without any problems at all and I did not have to stop to adjust the chain often. It has an translucent 5.1 oz. oil tank with an automatic oiler, and I get no oil leakage when stored (as some users have mentioned) since I always empty the tank after each job. The scabbard with a lanyard loop snaps on to cover the chain and metal bucking spikes. There is a flip-up lanyard loop on the saw for tethering use while climbing. This saw and the battery have a 3-year warranty. Since this winter's storms have damaged so many trees, this chainsaw is going to be busy and I look forward to getting the cleanup done quickly with this awesome chainsaw!

What a great chainsaw and kit. Its electric, so little maintenance and comes with two batteries which is enough to cut up a medium-size tree, about 45 minutes of run time. Its also powerful, a little more so than gas. All more cordless tools are M18 and I have several batteries so this chainsaw fits extra well into my array of tools. The chainsaw is weighted well and cuts quickly. The 14" bar is great for small jobs and small-medium trees. The battery fits nicely in the back of the saw and all you need otherwise is some bar oil in it (it does not leak bar oil!). The bar/chain are tightened all in one nice spot of the saw and the tool to do so fits conveniently within the saw which is a huge plus. (see picture) The chainsaw comes with a bar cover and a 12 amp and an 8 amp battery as well as a double rapid charger. The charger is nice because electric chainsaws chew through battery power rather quickly. This chain saw is made in China.

I got the M18 2826-22t it a beast I cut a lot of wood and fast I have 11 chainsaw 4 battery one is a Dewalt I build a 40"× 18" Boat with a chainsaw bring a mould cut down the tree shape it out with a chainsaw then fit it in the Boat I cut every piece with a chainsaw in the woods I fish that boat she could carry 50,000 herring so I am 67 had a lot of saws in my time still have some of them Not man enough to use some of them know but buy I can use the M18 2826-22t came with 2 battery and a charger what a saw I love it I have 2 corded chainsaw 2 ×14" yardworks battery I tough they were on 1 x14" Dewalt nice little saw But the Milwaukee 2826 22t will chop all them up I have Stihl 170 and 180 gas the Milwaukee eat them to Milwaukee cut to many Peases of wood to count the wood 2" to about 12" that all we have close around here I tried with the 170 sthil had her worm up but her of lay 2 saws on ground 8" log I said go grab up saws the milwaukee 2826 22 had it cut of before the 170 tuc the wood. Lol It comes with a 14-in bar .043 gage chain pitch. 325 with 7,700 rpm you can push on it it fast Milwaukee the only thing it should have a second chain in the kit because it will be 6 months before they will be in the stores I have all Dewalt tools my first Milwaukee is M18 2826-22t kit where do I get a chain for this new saw love the 2826-22t kit but one chain all I can say no one is perfect but you are so close Thanks Milwaukee for the great saw .
