Won't last a year
I've had 2 of these gun and had problems with both of them. It works great for about 8 to 9 months, then I have nothing but problems with if jambing about every 10 or so nails. I like milwaukee and have pretty much all of there nail guns. But the price you pay for just the gun and then add the batteries ontop of that is really steep for a gun that I can't get to last longer than a year without sending it off for repairs. I've tried all different brands of nail with no change.

I will buy another 18 ga nailer just so I have 2
This is an outstanding nailer. No feed jams, no miss fires, and all the additional settings are excellent. If I have one complaint is that the rubber tip on the is kind of crappy, moves around a lot a occasionally falls off, I wish it was like the one they have on their 15ga finish angle nailer which is stiff and secure to end

It’s great… when it works
It’s great… when it works. I have used this nailer minimally and it began to consistently jam. Sent it in twice now for repairs. Just got it back for the second time and noticed a crack in the magazine that wasn’t there before. Going to have to send it back AGAIN. So frustrating to not be able to use the tool I purchased and have repairs go so poorly.

Hard Nope! Would return if I had a gift receipt.
So disappointed!! I love my Milwaukee tools but this one definitely leave something to be desired. I was so excited when I was gifted this nailer for my birthday. Took it to a job with a VERY tight deadline, left my air nailer at home an hour away from my job site. This nailer would not sink 2” nails. Depth adjustment did nothing. Tried 3 different brands of nails. Had to sink EVERY nail by hand. Nothing in owners manual on trouble shooting this issue either.

Efficient tool, cheap tip
Tool works well in both modes and adjusting the depth is quick and easy but destroyed the ripper tip before finishing the first box of brads. Now have to be extra careful not to damage trim while installing.

Love milwaukee, nailer didn't quite hit the mark
I own 2 of these nailers, I loved my first one so I bought another..
The second nailer seems very temperamental and nail depths are not consistent. I find I have to set the depth to max setting in order to not have heads sticking out, this also leads to some nails driving through the material.

Relatively light weight nailer
My M18 Finish nailer is a relatively lightweight option if you're looking to go cordless. I've used much lighter pneumatic nailers, but the air hose is always kind of a pain in the butt. Soft tip is super useful and keeps finishing wood in good shape. The rapid-fire option is a bit prone to misfire if used in rapid succession, the magazine just can't feed fast enough. This isn't a huge problem in practice though. ~500 nails through it without a jam yet. Solid buy.

Best battery powered nailer
Replaced my 18g paslode with the Gen 2 Milwaukee nailer. Wish I did sooner. Great nailer. It does an amazing job at sinking nails with nice holes. Haven’t had a jam to date. 100% satisfied with this purchase.
