REDLINK PLUS Intelligence ensures optimized performance and protects your investment from overload, overheating and over-discharge. A rubber seal and weep holes provide superior protection against water and debris.

Brushless means that it doesn't have brushes, meaning that it is longer lasting over time, longer battery life, faster, cooler, and it's quieter. Buy brushless.

I tried to call the product hotline as indicated on the review guidelines and was routed around in the computer circle. Extremely poor phone service. Upon removal of the tool bag, (with the tool inside the bag) from the box, I attempted to unzip the bag. And it would not unzip. Upon close inspection, at the beginning of the bag, the zipper teeth had a jump so that two teeth were on the same side of a single tooth and the bag would not unzip. I am not going to force the zipper and take a chance on damaging it. Such a poor review, all because of a inexpensive zipper not allowing the tool to be properly used. I am going to return the product to Home Depot and see the response.

This was 100% excellent purchase
I use this for demo work. It was perfect!! I used it to demo an old trailer home. Working by myself I have it almost done in just 3 days. The M18 Fuel Hacksaw was so easy to handle with one hand so I could hang on to the ladder with the other while I cut. The Milwaukee blade cut through anything in its way. Sheet metal, flooring, siding, and any wood like it was butter

I normally do not write negative reviews but I wanted to share my experience with this product. Milwaukee makes great products however the hackzall in my experience is not one of them. I use this saw 2-3 times a week in my work and after less than 1 year I noticed the vibration had increased greatly and when in use the sound of the tool is extremely loud. The handle gets so hot you need gloves to hold it comfortably. The vibration now is so intense it hurts your hands and makes using it a dreaded chore. I have never abused the tool and am only cutting styrofoam with occasional wood every now and then. I will attach photos to my post to show how new the tool looks. It is extremely disappointing to pay hard earned money for a quality tool and have it wear out in less than a year. I have a corded sawzall that I have had for over 25 years and it still runs great. It is just heavy and with the cord it creates a work hazard. In summary for potential buyers I would say if you are someone that may use this tool once every few months then it may work great for you with many years of service. If you use it once a year to prune a tree or shrub it could last your lifetime however if you are a professional that uses it weekly do not expect to get a years worth of use out of it. It is designed in my opinion as a throw away tool once it breaks as parts are not available to fix it on your own. I hope others have better luck with this model than I have had.

Must Have Tool
If there’s one electric saw to own for DIY/household projects, this is it. Very versatile, lightweight, and easy to use- it’s a beast! In the few days of owning it, I’ve cut 2x4’s, nails, and thick steel framing (for an awning), all without any hiccups. Be sure to buy quality blades to go with it. On a side note, the tool bag is much bigger than I thought and had enough space to fit my jigsaw in as well.

Best sawzall all I’ve ever owned. The axe blade is amazing! Does not wear out! I’ve had one of these for about a year and use it while renovating houses. Battery is long lasting. I bought this one as a gift for my younger brother who lives in Oregon after he told me that he had several projects to do.
