A:  We recommend following the mounting of the miter saw instructions on our operator's manual. Thank you! - Social Team

A:  Most miter saw stands are universal. I've owned several different brands of saws and they all will interchange with each other, from my old saws from the 90's to my newest 2023 saws.

          by|Jul 30, 2023

A:  Wow, another non-answer from Milwaukee Tool! How would somebody have a manual if they're considering buying?? Apparently, you have to buy it to see if it fits your stand?

The fence locking mechanism does NOT work!!
This saw ruined a PRICEY 4'x4' sheet today. While feeding, I saw the blade bending toward the fence which was slowly traversing away and grinding against the lock. Now the fence rails are scored and grind when moving. Adjusting the nuts on the bar does NOT help. Fence is no longer ACCURATE. I'm also ANGRY. My wife was helping me. SAFETY IS NOW A CONCERN. Contacted M. support (SupportID: 27B9LKDK6D) but I expect a long process requiring me to ship it. Prefer exchange. I'm unsure of this saw now.

                  Broken again
Out of service for the second time. Do not buy this. It’s a lemon but Milwaukee is not interested in replacing it.

This Table Saw definitely has sufficient power in cutting hardwood at its stated thickness! I followed the instruction to align the saw tilt angle first and then the "yaw" (for the yaw, I flipped the table saw upside down). It's now well within 0.0005" and 0.05 degree. the AFTER cutting distance between the blade and the fence is exactly as the indicator (a red thin line) pointed at the ruler: which means if you want your after cut wood is 1/5 inch, then point the red thin line on the 1/5 inch mark and you'll get a 1/5 inch wide wood after the cut. I used this table saw to cut walnut, maple, and cherry hardwood materials to make a cutting board. This cutting board has 192 pieces of 3/4" by 1/5" to form a 16" X 18" cutting board. The precision, power, and smooth cutting made the final cutting board pieces glued together seamlessly. I used both 5A and 6A batteries, for me, either one can last all day.

Great saw for the price - Combo
i have had this saw for a few months now and no complaints except one. my neighbor and i were truing the blade and the fence to blade alignment was fine. The blade to table alignment however, was a little more complicated. in the owners manual on page 11, "Squaring the blade to the table" step 6, says to use a T25 wrench to adjust the bevel setting. This is inaccurate as this is adjusted with an Allen wrench, not a T-25. naturally, the adjustment screw stripped out and i had to call SAWDUST. they kindly sent me a replacement and when it arrived it was part # 44-60-0026 shown on the bag as well as in the Service Parts List. So they sent me out a replacement part, assuring it would be the correct one after describing it. Sure enough, the same part was sent a second time. Again, i contacted support and spoke with someone who took the time to actually look into the problem, understand how the part worked, and made sure i would receive the right part this time. the next day i get a call from the same person. the part listed in the Parts Service List is part # 45-04-0026. close enough to make a mistake. (I even sent her pictures of the part i got from them, and the part i needed replaced - Included in post) so now i am waiting for the actual Detent Mount Adjustment Screw replacement. Additionally if you purchase this saw, make sure you DO NOT use a T25 wrench to adjust the blade to table bevel. Double check the screw itself to make sure it is an Allen screw. i was told that this specific part is 45-04-0025 listed in the Milwaukee Tool parts price list as "SCREW ADJUSTMENT" whereas 45-04-0026, shown in the Parts List is listed as "DETENT MOUNT ADJUSTMENT SCREW"(These are not the same parts) Part 44-60-0026 (the one i received twice is listed as "CHOP STOP PIVOT PIN" Neither of these are detailed in the owners manual and you have to pull the Service Parts List PDF from Milwaukee's website because home depot has the wrong item listed as the owners manual on their site. In case anyone runs across this same problem when making a blade adjustment, i thought i would post this up here. otherwise it a great saw with great cutting finishes, the battery outlasts the jobs i use it for, cleanup and storage is a breeze with my new French Cleat system i used it on. i can actually hang it up by the Kickstand, or the black loop hook in the back and it wont fall off the wall. ***NOTE FOR MILWAUKEE: 1. You need to update your Operators manual to indicate the correct type and size wrench for this adjustment screw. (Page 11, bullet point 6.) 2. Service Parts List PDF to show the correct part number listed for this item (45-04-0025) 3. Either include with the saw or make available for purchase, Part #61-10-0415 and 61-10-0410 so that the tool can be properly calibrated and adjusted per your instructions in the Operators Manual.

                    No for finished carpenters
Bought this saw for my lighter finished carpentry work. After a few days of use, while making a compound cut (beveled and uncommon degree miter) the saw slid a few degrees over. Hoping it was just an adjustment issue, I tightened the miter locking mechanism to where it required significant force to lock in a miter but that didn’t help. I was only cuting 3/4 material and was taking it slow. I’m a dewalt guy but was really giving this saw a chance and trying to justify the purchase already having purchased a spare battery for it. Unfortunately this saw just wasn’t worth it for me as a professional finished carpenter so I returned it. Also the sliding mechanism sounds and feels very cheap and flimsy on this saw. But if all you need is to make straight 90 or 45 degree cuts and don’t mind the feel of the sliding mechanism, go for it. If you’re open to other brands, there are plenty better options out there in my opinion. I always took Milwaukee for a good quality manufacturer but they need to step there game up with this one.

                      I can't believe this!
I absolutely love Milwaukee ! Everyone calls me red man. But I have to say I'm embarrassed to own this. All my cuts in my 4in base are off. I used it at first for framing which its fine for but for finish carpentry it is not. Now I'm past return window . Cable system for bevel is horrible.

This things legit. It does prefer the 9 or 12 amp but you could get away with a couple cuts on a 6 but not recommended. Fires right up and cuts through plywood like butter. It even rips 2x4 lumber easily it does bog a little on treated but it’s doable. The fence was 1/8 out of wack when I got it but it’s easily adjustable with an Allen wrench.
